Altered Box

☆☆☆☆

Gosh, it's hard to believe that it has been 5 years since I last did a post on my blog. Time as just flown by so very quickly. But it's nice to be crafting again.
☆☆☆☆

I'm currently guest designing over at Crafteezee, so I've dusted the cob webs and cleaned my blog up a little, so
today I'm sharing an altered box. This is one of my favorite past times. As much as I love making cards, this gives me so much pleasure.
Don't know about the rest of you but I'm an hoarder - I see boxes in all shape and sizes and think
" oh, I'll keep that, I can make something with that ".
This was a charity shop find. Used some sanding paper, then spray painted with a matt finish.

Flower is handmade from foamiran - yet another hobby I've got learn and love.
0.6mm white and colored with chalks. I have not used a die or template, all petals cut freehand.

I have made foamiran leaves but also cut out leaves from a Lemoncraft kit  " Yesterday ".
These have been sprayed with a little water, creased, then set a side to dry.
Large beads were added as feet for the bottom of the box.

Do pop over to Crafteezee's blog and check out the DT work.
