Merry Christmas to You All

It's been such a long time since I posted. Not a good blogger am I?  I promise next year will be better. My depression seems to have taken over my life some what. I know I've got to make changes and I will.
Christmas Eve already. Where oh where as this year gone?
 In just 11 weeks my daughter will be having her second child. Finally a boy in the family. This little man will be spoilt for sure.
Well, I've been up since 5.30 am and done all my  food shop. My friend and I meet early to avoid the terrible rush. So much to do today. I even have a pantomime later with Holly. Then lay the table for tomorrow, sort dinner out and  play Santa. Hubby does nothing but watch....he makes me so angry!
So my dear blogger friends...have a wonderful Christmas, a healthy one too. I will catch you all when it's all over. I'm off for a power nap.

Baby Announcement Cards

I hope I find you all well and having a super weekend. Firstly I'd like to apologise for my absence. I have not blogged for such a long time. There as been so much going on and I just don't seem to have the time to sit at the computer to do a post. I have been crafting, making the odd card. I've taken pictures, so will be showing them off....I promise.
My eldest Daughter is expecting her second child - due on March 11th. She's been so poorly with this pregnancy. The sickness as been so bad, she ended up in hospital and had 7 bags of fluid. Thankfully it's all calming down now. She as her second scan next week and will be finding out the sex of the baby. She's asked if I will make up some announcement cards for special people. I have 4 to make in all. So for now I've done 4 in blue and 4 in pink. Then what ever is left I can sell on. Baby cards are always my favourite to make, so have really enjoyed making these up.
Totally in love with this adorable Tilda - A Gift from Heaven. Just the cutest.
Ingredients are as follows

First Edition Papers - Floral Pavilion - Lush!!
Flowers Wild Orchid Crafts and stash.
Sentiment - computer generated.
Joy Craft Butterfly Boarder Die.
Spellbinders Butterflies.
La-la Banner Die.
 Spellbinders Nestabilities - Floral Ovals

The blue card has the same ingredients only the papers are Lillibet / A tale of friendship.
For a change I'm going to be entering a couple of Challenges.
List
Midweek Magnolias Challenge - Warm and Cosy - I do believe the baby in Tilda's tummy is warm and cosy.

Baby Cards

First of all I would like to thank everyone for your wonderful, kind comments that were left on my last post. I will go to each and everyone blogs and thank you all personally.
Each comment lifted my spirits so much and I eventually got to realise that not all people are nasty and my creations were missed. Because of these wonderful follower's of mine, my mojo slowly returned and these two cards are just a couple I have made recently.
Now the pictures are not perfect, as they were taken from my phone - having camera issues. So once I had emailed them to myself the sizes and quality changed slightly.
I have used this super cute digital stamp from Sylvia Zet.
 The stamp is called Wee One.
Fantastic to colour in and have to say as been loved by many of my friends.
I have used pro-markers and poly pencils. The digital stamp was printed on to bristol board, as its extra smooth for the pencils. I would highly recommend this paper.
Flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts - a must have for any crafter.
Memory Box Dies.
La-La Land Banner Die.
Sentiments are compter generated.
Ribbon from stash.
~~~~~~~~~
I will be entering the cards in the following challenges.
The Ribbon Girl - Add a Bow
Bunny Zoe's Crafts - Pink and White
The Cutie Pie Challenge Blog - Cute and Cuddly
~~~~~~~~~~
Well, I must get a few things done - so catch you all later.

Good Morning Peeps.
Sorry I haven't blogged for a while. To be honest my heart hasn't been in to it.
Lots of reasons. I totally lost my mojo BIG time and some comments I was getting upset me. This is why I view them before publishing them. A lot were spam - the usual, penis enlargements and porn.
Though others were nasty and rude - telling my cards are awful etc. As always they were anonymous.
So craft things were put away for a while.
I have been busy decorating the house too - which I have to say I totally enjoyed and loved the end result. Nice and fresh and the new colours of cream and duckegg blue look amazing. So pleased with the colour change.
Anyway here are two cards that I have managed to do. It was nice to get the pro-markers out again.
The stamps are clearly LOTV and super cute as always. These were free in a craft magazine some time ago, that I put away and forgot about. As I couldnt get to my stamps and ink, they were ideal for a play.
As always I have used Wild Orchid Crafts flowers and always a must have to finish off a card.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
It's a quick post I'm afraid - I have to nip to town and do a few things. So hopefully I will catch you all again soon. Take care All.
1st Birthday Card
Hello Peeps. I've been busy with baby cards this week. This cutie one is for a first birthday.
The recipients request was a vintage rocking horse. I searched high and low for a stamp that I could combine with a LOTV stamp.
I found this gorgeous rocking horse over at Sirstampalot. It's a Molly Blooms stamp -Rolo the Rocking Horse. Doesn't he look good merged with The Baby Blanket stamp?
I have to say - this is one card I don't want to part with. I spent hours colouring with my pro-markers and poly pencils for shading. I really wanted to get the colours just right. To me it looks perfect.
I've added tiny white dots to the baby's clothes too. This really can't be seen that much.
Flowers are as always Wild Orchid Crafts and a docraft large white rose.
Gems Docrafts.
Ribbon from stash - love the pink and dusky pink together.
Papers used are Forever Friends - New Arrival. LUSH!!!
I also made a large box and decorated to match the card. This shows above - bottom right corner.
~~~~~~~~~~~~
Yesterday I was rather naughty and made a large purchase from The Range. Have you seen the Gorjuss range that's available - OMG!!! I'm in love. I've always loved the stamps but never bought until yesterday. The papers are amazing and so can't wait to play.
Aren't they just GORJUSS? Click on the above image and it'll take you to the article over at Docrafts.
Then.....................yes, another purchase LOL - naughty me.
Dovecraft have some amazing new papers too. Cupcake Boutique.
OMG! OMG! I was in heaven yesterday. My Daughter wasnt happy when I got to the till to pay, as I told her we were skint this month and that I hadnt got any pennies spare for her.
So for the next couple of weeks - they will be living on beans on toast, while I will be happy crafting in my little space. Does that make me a bad Mummy? I bet I'm not the only one who stashs some cash away for craft goodies. He-he-he!!
Well, that's it from me today - I'm now off to hide my new stash.

Easter Card

Good afternoon peeps. Hope I find you all well. Another wet weekend - when is the spring and sunshine coming?
Though it as got me in the mood for card making and getting an Easter card made up. I bought these wonderful cuties the other day and just couldnt wait to play with them.
This is a mixture of two digital stamps which I merged together.
The bunny on the left is called " Easter Bunny Parade " the right side is called " Easter Bunnies Plantpot ".
They can be purchased over at Di's Digital Stamps - HERE is the link to her new store.
It is under construction at the moment but you can still get around the store. She has some wonderful stamps, if you've never been there before, do pop over. I only found her the other day and I'm loving them all.
I've coloured these little cuties with pro-markers - all pastel shades.
Papers are Papermania - Capsule Collection - Spots & Stripes - LUSH!!!
Buttons, gems and ribbon from my stash.
Magnolia Die Cuts - Butterfly and Dragon Fly.
Sentiment - Docrafts.
I'm going to enter this card in a few challenges for a change.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Well, I'm off to clean my mess up and tidy the house before Victor Meldrew gets in from work.
Else he'll be moaning I've say on my bum all day. MEN!!!!
Clipart Fairy - Wedding Day
I purchased these cute bears from The Clip Art Fairy. I did a google search for them as bears were a must for this card. This is a pre-coloured card kit, with coloured image and papers to match. It wasnt until later that day looking at the terms of use, I found the artists blog and could of bought it black and white to colour myself. Nevermind.
Here is the link to the image.
I have added more colour to the bears with pro-markers.
I've used some wonderful papers - Pion - which my dear blogger friend Jill sent me in the post. It was a gorgeous gift.
Sentiment was also within the kit.
 Flowers are Wild Orchid Craft - gorgeous as always.
Gems and ribbon from my stash.
 Cheery Lynn Die - fanciful flourish.
 SPELLBINDERS Nestabilities - Floral Ovals.
No butterflies for a change lol.
 A close up of the image its self - I added high lights around the image and made their cheeks a bit brighter. Also added some colour on the brides flowers - all done with pro-markers.
Wedding Card and a Moan.....
 Morning everyone, what a week I have had - disastrous is more like it.
 Let's go back a month. My washing machine broke. It was old, had it a number of years and was going to cost too much to repair. So we invested in a new one. Larger machine 9kg drum / 1600 spin, which is perfect for all the washing my girls give me.
Friday, I went in the garage to take some meat out of the freezer to find it had broken down too. Everything defrosted, blood and water every where. I sat and cried at all the food we had to throw away. We had only just bought a whole pig and lamb from the farm shop. I took photos etc - then found we wasnt covered on our insurance. I was so upset to say the least. It was 12 years old and we got it second hand back then.
Sunday my toaster broke, Monday the kettle went pop. Then yesterday as I loaded the washing machine - that went bang as it went on spin. The machine sounded like it had nuts and bolts inside it. Only 5 weeks old - by this time I was a wreak. An emotional one - not been myself lately so this made me worse. I got on the phone to Hotpoint who said it could take 3 weeks for the engineer to come out. I lost my temper, screamed and shouted at him to get one here today or tomorrow or I'm taking it back to Currys for a new one. Engineer is coming at some point today.
 So.....I went to Currys to buy a freezer, kettle and toaster. To be told I had to pay £28.00 for delivery on top of the £349 for the freezer. So I said that we would pick it up from the store. They then said "we don't do that anymore". I told him I didnt want the freezer then and would go else where. He then said " suit yourself ". How rude!!! So I came home went on Curry's website - got the same freezer for £314 and FREE delivery and it comes tomorrow.
Some times LIFE just sucks!! So all in all Curry's have had just under £1000 out of us in a month. We been saving for a new settee - won't be getting that for a long time yet!
So on to a happy note lol. Wedding season is upon us and requests are coming in already.
I so love making wedding cards. I get so much joy from them.
For this I used a LOTV pre-coloured image. Now I was going to put a link for them but they don't seem to be in their store anymore. Sorry folks.
The theme for this wedding is lilac but as I have 2 cards to make for the same couple I did this one in blue.
I have used NitWit Papers from LOTV - Petal Fresh.
These are LUSH and so need to get some more. Love them!!
I went for a criss cross card as 18 people were signing the card. So there are 3 inserts in the flap for them to sign. I put a sentiment in the corner which reads " Something Blue " thought this was ideal with using these lovely shades from the paper pack.
 I decorated the front and back of each insert. This picture also shows the box I made.
Card measures 7"x7"'s - large for me and I did stress over over. Especially with the week I had.
Flowers are as always from Wild Orchid Crafts and some from docrafts.
Ribbon and gems from stash too.
My favourite Spell Binder Die - Floral Ovals.
Magnolia Butterfly / Dragon Die Cut.
Well, that's it for me today. I'm now off to finish the other wedding card. I'll catch you all soon. So for blabbing on a little to you all. But as they say, it helps to talk.
Take care all - catch you soon.
Easter Card - Saturated Canary
 Good morning everyone - I hope I find you all well. Easter is approaching us - another expense!
I don't get asked to make Easter cards but I tend to send a few out to close friends and family.
I've coloured the lovey Easter Dress from Saturated Canary. Krista's stamps are to die for - super cute and wonderful to colour.
 I coloured with my pro-markers - colours that I wouldn't usually use. I so love the brights and it's turned out rather well. A pleasing result. Telling myself I should use them more often.
Papers are First Edition - Blank Canvas. I can't get enough of this pack - beautiful embossed and linen textured sheets. LUSH!
Magnolia Die - Butterfly/Dragonfly. I personally think it looks more like a butterfly.
Ribbon from my stash.
Flowers from Docrafts and Wild Orchid Crafts.
Easter Sentiment - Forever Friends.
Live & Love Crafts, have a challenge on Instagram - which is an Easter Challenge. I believe this is their first IG Challenge. So I've entered my card over there.  I've been blogging for a few years now and not heard of Live & Love crafts. They have a super store and a fantastic DT. Their cards are amazing.
Well, that's it for me today - I have two wedding cards to finish. Sat and did my colouring the other day, so now I have to create - though today I don't really feel like it. Not got my card making head on. Think I may have got out of bed the wrong side. Feeling rather ratty. :((
So catch you all soon. Take care.
Mothers Day
Good afternoon my lovelies. Hope I find you all well.
Sorry I haven't been about much of late but I have been snowed under with Mother's Day cards and birthday cards for March. I'm not complaining mind, it's just when you get last minute wants and the recipient wants them now! I don't think some people realise how much time we put into our cards.
I know mine arent the best and there is some wonderful creations around but I like to please, to get a good end result.
Anyway, on this card.
My gorgeous blogger friend sent me some wonderful papers and stamps in the post. What a surprise I had and just couldnt wait to have a play.
Beautiful magnolia papers and this sweet, sweet Tilda. Just had to get started on a card straight way.
Rose Romance and Rose Magnolia papers.
Flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and my stash.
Ribbon from my local market.
Magnolia Butterfly/dragonfly die.
These are certainly not colours I would go for but I honestly should use them more often.
 I so love the end result. Gorgeous. Well, I have to shoot now as I have lots of boxes to make for peeps to come and collect their cards.
Happy Crafting folks. See you all again soon.
LOTV - Mother's Day Cards
 Hello my lovelies. I've had a busy few days with orders for Mother's Day cards.
I purchased these wonderful pre-coloured images when I had a day trip to LOTV shop. I have to say my Daughter was not impressed when we got there.
We spent over two hours on the road - Staffordshire to Farsley.
When we parked up and walked in the shop, my Daughters words were " Is this it"? I don't know what she was expecting - some huge warehouse full of crafts maybe? Hehehehe, I wish.  Let's say I spent quiet a bit but my Daughter said she will not be taking me again. We had coffee in the store, the girls made us feel very welcome but as we were only there half hour Tasha told me " Never again "!!!
Spoil Sport!!!
 These little cuties are called Fluffy Bunnies
So, so cute and I thought were just perfect for Mother's Day.
Papers used are Country Companions.
Whimsy Stamps - Banner Pennant Die Set.
Flowers are Wild Orchid Crafts and stash.
Cherry Lynn Die - Tropical Flourish.
Small butterfly punch - docrafts.
 I'm going to enter these cards in the Lili's Little Fairies Challenge - which is butterflies.
I now have to make all the boxes. Not sure if to decorate them or leave them plain with a nice tag with the scraps I have left over. We will see.
Well, happy crafting girls and boys. Have a super weekend. catch you again soon.
Tilda with no lines
 Morning everyone - I hope that you all had a super weekend. We had family down from up North. My Neice, her Hubby and baby. It was wonderful to see them all and the baby as grown so much.
6 months old and crawling - a cheerful little chappy he is. Lovely having a baby boy in the house.
 He was spoilt rotten to say the least.
Last week, I thought I would give another go at stamping without lines. I spent 2 hours colouring this sweet Tilda - Tilda with Little pocket.
 I stamped her with a pale peach and worked my way around the out-line first. I found this easier for me. I used my Poly-Pencils for a change and blended with sansodor. I have to say I am very pleased with the end result
I have used -
SPELLBINDERS Nestabilities - Floral Ovals.
Magnolia butterfly die and tag.
 Flowers Wild Orchid Crafts and Magnolia.
 Cheery Lynn Die - fanciful flourish.
Sentiment - Docrafts.
Papers - First Edition - Blank Canvas.
~~~~~~~~~~
I havent entered any challenges for a while, so here is a few I'm entering my card.
Simply Magnolia - BINGO - Flowers, Pearls and Lace ( pearls are on Tildas flowers )
~~~~~~~~~~~
That's if for me, I have to go and get myself sorted now as the car needs to go in for its MOT.
Have a good day.
Hello my lovelies - I hope I find you all well. I haven't been doing a great deal of card making as I have had other projects on the go. I'm crocheting a blanket for my bed and I'm so enjoying it, very relaxing at night time. Plus I've also made a memo board which I'll be showing on my blog later this week.
This card is for my Daughters friends sister who will be nine on Tuesday - I've even been roped in to making a birthday cake too. KIDS!! Why do they do this to use - as if I don't have enough to do in the week.
I have used Saturated Canary Digital Stamp - she's called Starla.
Coloured with my Pro-markers in blues and greys. Love the two combinations.
Papers used are Forever Friends - New Arrival. Gorgeous glittered papers. Lush!
Flowers as always are Wild Orchid Crafts as are the gems.
Snuggle Time
 Snuggle Time - Lili of the Valley
Hello my lovelies - hope I find you all well?
I have seen some super round cards in and around blogland, so thought it was time I made one too.
The lovely Gina Knott's cards are amazing, so beautifully put together.
She gave me such inspiration to make this card.
We have lots of baby's due in the next few months, so I've just had to use LOTV stamps.
Pink card to be finished later today, as I'm not sure whats going to arrive.
This cute stamp was a must have - so adoreable.
I have coloured with both pro-markers and poly pencils.
I've used a Go Kreate Large Circle Frame - it's just over 5".
 Didn't have the pennies for a bigger one :((  I will get one soon though, as this card is quite small for me. Around the edge is a Martha Stewart punch and just cut sections out to go around the card.
Flowers Wild Orchid Crafts and Magnolia.
 Cheery Lynn Die - fanciful flourish.
Embellishments - ribbon, button and sentiment from stash.
I'm going to enter this card in Lili's Little Fairies Challenge - Anything but Square.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I WILL be placing my tutorial on mirror stamping soon, just havent had the time. Been rather busy my end of late. Well, time for me to shoot - things to do, places to go.
Catch you all soon.

Tilda with Wrapped Heart

 My card is all finished now - though there is something missing. I don't know what it is!
Just doesnt look right, I know I haven't placed a sentiment - maybe it's that. Feed back would be nice.
 I will do picture instructions over the weekend, on how I did the mirror stamping.
Hope you can wait that long?
 Tilda with Wrapped Heart - Sweet Crazy Love 2012
Papers are First Edition - Rose Garden.
Ribbon and buttons from stash.
Flowers are Wild Orchid Crafts and stash.
Coloured with Pro-markers.
Looking at the card I think it''s Tilda's bows I don't like. I'm not really in to dark greens as I can never get them to look right.
Well, thats it for me. Have a super weekend. Stay safe in the snow.
