LOTV - Close your Eyes

I hope everyone had a super weekend. The weather as been awful hasn't it? So I spent some time in my craft den, as I had two last minute cards to make.
This being one of them. A friend picked the stamp for this wedding card. She just loves going through my collection of stamps. I actually thought she would have picked something different....but no she adored this " Close Your Eyes " from Lili of the Valley. A traditional card she didn't want.
I haven't yet finished the inside but it will be the same as the front.
Papers I have used are - FIRST EDITION -  Love Letters.
Martha Stewart Punch - Hearts - sorry can't remember it's name. I've had it ages and only used twice.
Flowers / gems - Wild Orchid Crafts.
Spellbinders Nestabilities - Floral Ovals.
Coloured with Pro-markers.
Sentiment - K & Company - Wedding Collection.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Well, that's it for me today. Got loads of washing to do - I can't believe how many clothes my girls wear and I bet most of it is clean - they've most likely picked it up of the floor after just looking at it, then it's got thrown in the basket.
Catch you all soon.
Tilda with Teddy Bear
Good Morning folks.
I've made a Tilda card for a change. I have that many of these wonderful stamps, yet they never get used as often as the should do.
This card was especially made for TOMIC Challenge
Their challenge is a Photo Inspiration and Best Wishes. I think I have covered the colours perfectly. What do you think?
Products I have used are as follows -
Papers - FIRST EDITION - New Leaf.
Spellbinders - Floral Ovals.
Flowers / gems / Decorative Pin are from Wild Orchid Crafts.
Sentiments - Docrafts.
Small oval picture frame was from my cross stitch stash. It's actually a brooch.
Lace and ribbon from my stash.
Magnolia Doohickeys - So Wrapped Tilda Lace.
I stamped just the bear from Tilda's knee - took me ages to get him right. With him being so tiny I kept getting ink in places I didn't want it to be. Managed in the end and I think it looks fantastic.
Pictures are not that brilliant, so dark this end. Throwing it down with rain - and - we are suppose to be having a drought!!
I'm also entering this card in Magnoliahaast Challenge - Sketch.
Simon Says Stamp Challenge - Anything Goes.
I have a friend round this morning so will catch you all later.
Have a good day.
You forget what its like when your own children are grown up. She's so loud too....doesn't whisper, she shouts...at the top of her voice. When she sleeping...it's such a relieve...peace....total heaven. I've got to go through it all again tonight. Gosh...no wonder I'm going grey!
I have lots of birthdays for May - 9 in all, so I've got lots of cards to make. I've some catching up to do haven't I?
Anyway- I've yet again used PATCHWORK PRESENT - sorry but he's so adorable. I do hope you don't get sick of seeing him. I've now done a pink one, blue one, lilac one and now this lovely burnt orangie colour.
A Sneak Peek - Ragged Romeo
I don't have a finished card to share as of yet - so thought I'd share a sneak peek instead.
I haven't used a Mo Manning stamp for ages, so when I saw this on her site I just had to get it.
It's a wedding card - for a friend of a friend who didn't want anything too traditional.
I just have to make a money / voucher wallet to match.
As soon as the silicone is dry I will post the full card.
That's all from me today. I hope you all have a super weekend. I have some spring cleaning to do. Our spare bedroom as turned in to a dumping ground - so badly needs a good sorting and rearranging.
Maybe a lick of paint too. Not looking forward to it at all. But it as to be done.
Catch you all soon.
Pregnancy Announcement
As promise, I'm back with my pregnancy announcement card.
This as been requested by my Daughter who's friend is just passed her 12th week into her pregnancy and has now announced to the world. The baby's room will be in creams and beige's. I have a shadow box, in which this card will be placed in to for safe keeping. Just waiting for the paint to dry.
I have used my favourite layout for this card. As I have said before it is great for the scraps of papers you have lying about.
I have not coloured this image at all - it's come from PCCrafters, which I'm afraid is no longer running. The creatable it came from is " Hush Little Baby ".
I have used NEW ARRIVAL papers - Forever Friends.
The ribbon is too Forever Friends.
Gems and flowers are as always Wild Orchid Crafts.
Cheery Lynne - Fanciful Flourish.
This picture isn't perfect I'm afraid - having camera and light problems. It's so dark this end.
Oh - I have to tell you - The Paper Mill  have got a special offer on A4 300gsm card stock.
Its a mega box of 500 sheets for £30.00. Now firstly I wasn't sure if to order it or not, as I've been on sites before where they have claimed its good card stock and when it's arrived, I've been disappointed at the quality of it. We use to have a Paper Mill locally and I was happy with what they sold. So I just went for it - it arrived yesterday and OMG its beautiful thick card. I ordered Monday,so I was also happy with the delivery time too. Get yourself over there as it is a limited time deal.
You won't be able to use your Martha Stewart punches on the card as it's very thick. Now at my nearest craft shop you can pay 49p a single sheet for this thickness, now times that by 500, it'll cost you £245.00. So YES Paper Mill's card is a real bargain.
I'm off now - lots of things to do.
Take Care
LOTV - Patchwork Presents
Good Morning.
Just a quick post for me today as Hubby as got me doing 1001 jobs. The joys!
As if I haven't enough to do!
As I have said before, I've suddenly gone in to a pink and blue stage with my cards. Won't last for long as I have a gorgeous pale beige and cream card to share - once the silicone as dried.
I have to say, I'm so addicted to these super cute patchwork stamps from LOTV
They are the best - lush!
The stamp as been coloured with Pro-markers.
The papers I have used are - FOREVER FRIENDS - New Arrival.
They're glittered and double sided. Another favourite of mine right now.
Marianne Designs Butterfly Die
Cheery Lynne - Fanciful Flourish
The super flowers and gems are Wild Orchid Crafts.
Sentiment - Craftwork Cards
Ribbon - Ribbon Girl
which I purchased from the Hobby Craft fair at the NEC a couple of years a go.
Well, that's it for now - best go and get the usual house-hold chores done before Victor Meldrew walks in and gives me more to do.
Have a good day folks. Raining this end, so its a good day for hiding in your craft dens.
Teddy Bo Challenge # Pink & Brown
Good Morning Peeps
It's time for another challenge over at Teddy Bo and the colour theme is PINK and BROWN.
I had a baby card to do and the nursery for the baby is pink / cream and beige / brown, so this challenge was ideal for me.
I have used TEDDYBEA_033 " Baby you're a Star " pre-coloured stamp, this mean's I did NO colouring myself - just printed and layered on to coloured card stock.
Marianne Designs Butterfly Die
Cheery Lynne - Fanciful Flourish
Ribbon from my stash.
Gems and flowers - Wild Orchid Crafts
Papers - First Edition - Sweet Owl
Martha Stewart - Round the Edge Punch
 Now for a look at this weeks new graphics / stamps. They are super, aren't they?
Well - I have places to go and thing's to do today. So I'll catch you later in the week.
LOTV Challenge - Transport
Good Morning Peeps. Hope I find you all fit and well. Sorry I haven't been about much. Still feeling tired. I certainly didn't expect to feel like this at all after my operation. When will it go away I ask?
I seriously don't know how I managed when I had my hysterectomy years a go and had 3 young children to look after. I guess, it was because I was so much younger then....I feel so old right now!
Is 43years old? I hate not having that energy.
So...on to my card.
The challenge over at LOTV this week is Transport. I guess my cute little friend, flying away on her balloons - counts as transport. What do you think?
I have used PATCHWORK BUNCH OF BALLOONS for this stepper card.
The cards came from my local Docrafts store / Papermania and are 6 " x 6 ".
I have coloured her with Pro-markers. I'm so happy with my colouring for this card, as I also used the blending pen a lot too.
I have used Cherry Lynne dies - Fanciful Flourish and Pair of Ferns - lush!
Small butterfly punch, which I layered 3 times.
Flowers are Wild Orchid Crafts.
Papers are BOOFLE - 6 " x 6 " Designstax Pack.
Sentiment was a free download from TLC
Gems are Papermania too.
Well, that's it for me today. I'm having a relaxing day today - which I so deserve. I haven't stopped for 3 days ( not saying what I've been doing cus someone may shout at me ) and my body is telling me to slow down.
Love to All
LOTV - Gift Set
Good Morning Everyone.
Here is a little gift set, that I have made for a friend who is terrible at remembering birthdays and sending a card. So this set is an hint for her to get a pen out and send someone a card. She's forever saying " I need to get a thank you card ", so inside I've also done some labels, with THINKING OF YOU - HAPPY BIRTHDAY & THANK YOU. Those can be placed on, as of when she needs them.
 I have used PATCHWORK BUTTERFLY, stamped 3 times and coloured with pro-markers.
Boarder as been punched with one of my Martha Stewart Punches.
Flowers are as always Wild Orchid Crafts. Glitter and gems have also been added to the wings.
I'll be entering this set in the Challenge over at Wild Orchid Crafts which is " Things with Wings ".
The box measures 6" x 6" - but I made a terrible mistake.
The cards fit the box perfectly but I didn't think of the envelopes....so they don't fit!
Silly me!!
For the box, I used PATCHWORK PRESENT.
The inspiration for this box came from Lili of the Valley - Ideas to Inspire.
Lena Katrine made a super box, which really did jump out at me " WOW ".
So, as I've struggled with cards of late, this so gave me the urge to get my pro-markers out.
Plus my friend Simone hassled me to get creating again.
Ribbon is from my stash - I really can't remember the site - gorgeous ribbon though.
The butterfly die is I think - Marianne Design.
Used Cherry Lynne die too - my favourite - totally loving it - can you tell?
I'm also going to enter this card in TOTALLYPAPERCRAFTS challenge - which is BINGO.
I have used Flower / diecut / blue.
Well, that's it for me today. I have done lots of colouring for cards whilst being poorly - so there will be some more cards coming soon - promise.
Warning!!! I'm going through a PINK and BLUE stage right now.
Have a good Easter Weekend. Catch you soon.
Sneak Peek
Good Morning Everyone.
Thought I'd let you know how I am and show you a sneak peek.
I've healed reasonably well, in fact you can't really tell I have had surgery.
My ribs are still a little sore.
The only thing that's getting me down is my legs - it's like they can't hold me for long. They ache so much and throb. People keep telling me it's because I'm doing too much - I'm so use to being active. At the weekend Hubby took me shopping ( yes you did read that right ) two hours round Morrison's tired me out that much, I slept for 3 hours after. I just sat down and fell sleep. This isn't me at all, so it  is getting me down a bit. My friend Simone as been round every other day, so the company as been good. She's tried so hard to get me back in the craft room, bless her.
The preview of the above card took me just under 2 weeks to complete. I was getting so angry with myself cus I couldn't even turn the handle on my cuttle bug.
I laugh at myself now but gowd I was getting so frustrated lol
I did manage to get a bit of colouring done though - will try and get some cards finished soon.
Any way I'd best get myself dressed, as my Daughter will be round soon to take me town.
So need to get out of the house. See you all soon.
