Good afternoon my blogger friends. This is my last card for at least 10 days. I have my surgery on Monday, so not sure how I'm going to be feeling. I do know that it will be painful lifting my arms, so I have a couple of cards scheduled.
First one being Sunday, which will be my Totally Tilda Baby card for the blog-hop.
I have used Krista's ( Saturated Canary ) freebie. She's called Ava. Now if your going to go over there and download the freebie - please do follow her blog and thank Krista for the free stamp - don't just pinch and leave. It's nice of her to give these away, so please do leave her a thank you. She's a very sweet lady and I really do get a lot of pleasure colouring her stamps.
When I had my gall bladder out, she so kindly sent me a wonderful card and a bracelet which had the words " Live a Life of Love - Ephesians 5:1-2 ". Now that's a random act of kindness, on I wasn't expecting. It took a whole month to arrive but was such a lovely surprise.
I have coloured Ava with Pro-markers, after printing her on to Letraset Cartridge Paper.
I used Papermania - Lucy Cromwell papers - LUSH!
Flowers / pin / gems from Wild Orchid Crafts.
Small Butterfly Punch - Tonic Studio.
Ribbon from my stash.
Sentiment - docrafts.
Made this for a dear blogger friend, so I hope she likes. I have 5 blogger friends birthdays coming up, so really do have some catching up to do.
I'm also going to enter this in the Wild Orchid Crafts Challenge - Anything Goes.
This was going to be a book mark for Krista's Challenge but just got carried away.
Well, the sun is shining and my washing machine as finished. So I'm gonna peg that out and maybe sit outside for a while. Hope your all enjoying the lovely weather.
Take care and see you all again soon.

More Surgery................

Just wanted to let you girls know whats happening with me at the moment. As some of you know,
I have had a few health problems and other worries over the last couple of years. It's been shit! To the point where I was actually given anti-depressants. My Doctor told me my pains were in my head and just kept upping my tablets. I got a second opinion , as I couldn't eat a thing without almost passing out with pain. Turned out I had an infection in my bile duct and two stones. Can't thank this doctor enough, he's been fantastic. So March 17th this year I had it removed. OMG - couldn't wait to tuck in to a cream cake and gorgeous roast dinner. I was in heaven. Decided that I should now reduce the anti-depressants.....with help.
Then a couple of weeks a go - I had a letter that confirmed my breast implants were the PIP ones.
As you can imagine - that knocked me back even more - asking myself constantly " Why me " ?
Sometimes it feels someone up there as really got it in for me - or as I keep telling myself - I'm being tested. But there is only so much that a woman can take. Any way I went for my appointment at the private clinic to discuss what's going to happen. My boobs were checked as were my armpits for lumps and bumps. I was so scared as we aren't in the position to find the money like we were in a few years ago. Hubby had an heart attack which left us rather skint - though things are picking up now.
So - no matter what, they have got to come out - as they are extremely dangerous. This was the most worrying thing of all. I didn't want to look like a freak. I've been awful to live with and so snappy. So an hour in to the appointment, the surgeon told me - he as the funds to remove them and replace for FREE. I sat and cried, shaking with fear as well as appreciation. I still don't know if the implants have leaked until I've been cut open. But I have very faith in the surgeon to put it right.
My surgery is the 28th of this month. I really wanted to just let you know that I will be absent for a few days after. So glad that I have made my DT cards. I just have to schedule them all now.
Hope I haven't bored you with this post.
So for now I have to shoot. Having my Grand-daughter today whilst her Mummy is at work.
Happy Crafting All.

Totally Tilda Challenge #46

Good morning everyone.
This is my very first DT card for Totally Tilda Challenges. I was shocked and so surprised to have had an email from the lovely Susie asking me to be on the team. Of course I didn't have to think about it - I said YES straight away. How could I have turned it down when I adore my Magnolia stamps so much, plus I get the opportunity to brush the cob webs off some of them and create.
There's a great deal of talent over there, so here's hoping I've met their high standards. They're all a great bunch of girls and I can't wait to get to know them more.
Thank you so much for the warm welcome teamies.
As the theme is Princess Tilda in Pink, I have used " Tilda Catching Stars ". She's been stamped with memento on to Letraset Cartridge Paper. This paper is fantastic for pro-markers, as well as stamping or printing digital stamps.
I have changed the colours of Tilda's skin to a more vibrant tone.
I usually use Dusky Pink / Blush and Ivory.
This time I have used Burnt Orange / Coral / Sunkissed Pink and Blush.
Don't forget the Challenge is for Princess Tilda to be dressed in pink and is sponsored by Crafty Ribbons
The papers I have used are Magnolia's - Once Upon a Time - Pink Starlit.
Marianne Designs Cutting Die - Butterfly
Cherry Lynn Designs - Cutting Die - Pair of Fern
Cherry Lynn - Cutting Die -Victorian Picket Fence
Flowers and gems from Wild Orchid Crafts
Martha Stewart - Round the Edge Punch

Fairy-tale Friday

Morning all - not saying " Good Morning " as it's not been the best few days for me. Not going in to detail just now....but doing my best to hold my head high and keep on smiling.
I've made another card with this adorable little cat.
Holly, my Grand-daughter as her own little craft box at Nana' side was some little wobberly / beady eyes. I just had to stick them on him. Makes him have more attitude, don't you think?
Image is FAIRYD_TB_CAT - coloured with Pro-markers, after printing on to Letraset Cartridge Paper. Fantastic thick paper for colouring on.
Docrafts - Papermania - Capsule Collection - so lush!
Flowers and gems - Wild Orchid Crafts.
Sentiment - Docrafts.
Cheery Lynne - Fanciful Flourish.
Tiny wooden mouse, is a button - cute isn't he?
That's all for me today - as I have a few appointments to make today. I will be back soon with another card.
Take Care
