Christmas Angel Ragamuffin - Saturated Canary

Did I say " I was addicted "? I did......didn't I? I'm on the roll at the moment.
Hope I don't bore you with my Saturated Canary cards!
Again I have used Christmas Angel Ragamuffin, which can be found here.

I have used Magnolia Papers - Vintage Christmas - Snowy Wood.
Layered over the top is Docrafts Glittered Vellum - Wonderland.
The vellum as been attached with brads, as I can't find my vellum glue dots anywhere. A long time since I used them, so they probably wouldn't stick anyway. With my craft room being the conservatory, I do have problems with sticky pads loosing their stickiness. I guess its the heat in the summer that ruins them.

This gorguss Angel as been coloured with Pro-markers and a white gel pen to give high-lights.
She so reminds me of when we were kids - all of us use to argue over whom was placing the fairy on the Christmas tree. So each year we had a rota - ones does the fairy and the others did a bauble each. Gosh, there was a few scraps between us!
Extra fine glitter as been added to her wings, hair and Christmas baubles.
Snow flake is a Spellbinders - Shapeabilities - Ironwork Motifs
Small snowflake attached to the ribbon is from my stash and was from a box of table decorations I bought a few years ago.
Gems from Papermania - no flowers this time as I think there is enough on the card.
Oh....the small sentiments is from the freebie out of this weeks Cardmaking and Papercrafts magazine.
The size of this card is rather large - 8 inches x 8 inches. I printed her a little large but someone will be pleased with this card when they receive this card for Christmas.
Right - off to tidy up again.....and finish yet another card.

" Hand Me Downs " Saturated Canary Digi

Tammy is definitely addicted to these gorgeous digi stamps from Saturated Canary
It's so nice to craft with something new. I'm off to colour another one after tea is prepared - that's if I decide to cook, that is!!
I was also going to enter this card in Krista latest challenge but I got carried away with the papers - ooppppsss!!!!
I have this time chose pro-markers - to be honest they don't get out often as I do like my poly pencils best. I picked my papers first so thought the markers would work better. Not my usual style either. I tend to have more matting layering going on.

These sentiments are from some stickers I've had for years - when I use to do a lot of scrap booking.
Just laid them on to pink and kraft card stock.
The papers I've had a long time too - so the make and name I'm not sure off.

This card is for my daughters friend who is half Asian, so getting the skin colour right was a must have. I think I'm happy with the results - though does look better at a distance than close up. In my hand it looks blended perfect but this picture shows a dark line round the edges.
What do you think??
I've also used a white gel-pen to give some high-lights on her dress and socks.
So - I'm off to play again.
Catch you all later maybe's.

Birthday Card to Match Exploding Box

Good morning everyone. Here is a card I made the other day to match the exploding box.
I have used the same papers - for those that havent seen the post they are -
Panduro Hobby - Winterbird, so, so beautiful.
This is the link to the exploding box

I have used TEDDYBEA_131 for the card. I love the scratchy look of the bears.
Coloured with Poly Pencils, blended with sansodor.
Flowers are as always Wild Orchid Crafts.

The inside of the card matches the front.
Don't forget you still have until Sunday 30th October Midnight GMT to get your entries for our CAS ( Clean & Simple ) challenge in, and be in with the chance of winning yourself ten Teddy Bo and Co digi images.
Right - Tammy is off ..... I have to clean my craft room - such a messy crafter I am.
Then get another card finished.....I'm tempting to colour dark skin with pro-markers - something I've never done before....wish me luck.
Hugs to All

Christmas Angel A Ragamuffin - Saturated Canary Digi's

My very first card using the Simply Sassy digital stamps, from Saturated Canary Digi's.
I'm in love - they are simply gorgeous.
I have to say I have always admired these stamps - but sometimes I'd rather have a digi stamp, as then it can be re-sized to how I want it. I get requests for bigger cards, so it's not often I make a 6 x 6 inch card, usually a little larger. So as you can imagine - I got rather excited when looking at a friends blog, that she'd coloured a digital image. That's it, Tammy went on google and found them.
OMG!! There was lots and lots......I didn't over do it but bought 4 in total.
They print so perfect.
So I have to thank Krista Smith, the artist - as now I will be penniless again!!
I enjoyed colouring her in so much. Stunning!

The papers I have used are G.C.D Studios - ELLA BLUE. My fave colour combination. So a must have for me. LUSH!!!
Coloured with Poly Pencils, blended with sansodor.
Flowers as always are Wild Orchid Crafts, as is the ribbon binding.
Added fine glitter to her wings and gems for buttons.
Sentiment LOTV.
Snow flake is a Spellbinders - Shapeabilities - Ironwork Motifs
I'm off now to tidy my den and start colouring another.
Take care all.

Exploding Box

I have seen some wonderful exploding boxes of late from a lovely talented lady over at www.romantyczka-pl.blogspot.com
I havent made one of these for years - you must check her's out, they are amazing.

I have used my Cri-cut for the " IT'S YOUR DAY " - using matching paper for normal cut and card stock for the black out.
Papers used are from Panduro Hobby - Winterbird, so, so beautiful.

Lots and lots of Wild Orchid Craft flowers - which as you all know are a must have!
I used TEDDYBOBEA_FRAMES_002_1 & TEDDYBOBEA_FRAMES_002_2
Coloured with Poly Pencils and blended with sansodor.

Not always the best creation to photograph, so I hope there is enough for you to see.
To make the box I used a 12 inch by 12 inch piece of card and scored at 4 inches and 8 inches, turned round clock wise and repeated the score lines. You will then have 9 squares. Cut away each corner square - use the cut-offs to decorate the box - don't throw them away.
To make the lid I cut a piece of card to 10 inches by 10 inches - scored all the way round at 1 and 1/2 inches. This will fit the box snug.

Do check out the latest releases over at Teddy Bo, there are some really cute Christmas stamps.
Hope you all have a wonderful day.

Sweet Christmas - Tilda with Teddy

Hi there folks - Gosh what a week my end! Firstly I'd like to say thank you to all those that have left messages regarding my health. I have definitely got to have my gall bladder out - not just cus of two stones, I have an infection too. So hopefully I should have a letter soon regarding my appointment to see the surgeon. Fingers crossed it wont be left too long. The pain just drags me down.
Anyway - on to my card or should I say book-card.

I have used last years Magnolia christmas papers.
Lots of Wild Orchid Flowers - ok, some peeps say to me - " Flowers " " Why so many "?
I adore flowers - doesnt matter what time of year, they just look so perfect on a card.

The sentiments are from my stash and to be honest I am not sure of the make or where aouts they are from.
I have used the new  Sweet Christmas - Sitting Tilda with Teddy
Verse is from here.

Snow Flakes are a die from Whimsy Stamps - Winter's Jewel 1.
Plastic snowflake attached with glue over the top. I bought loads of these last year from the NEC for the wedding invites - but the neice didn't like them.

The cloud effects behind Tilda, I made by following the lovely Bev Rochester's tutorial and it can be found here. The lovely Hazel from Teddy Bo's Design Team pointed me in the right direction.
So glad she did as I knew nothing about it.
tee - hee
Well - I have to shoot now as my Daughter is off camping for her Silver D of E for the weekend and needs dropping off.
Catch you all soon

Teddy Bo Tuesday & New Challenge # Clean and Simple

Gosh you'd think this was the easiest card to make - errr afraid not. I feel lost without my flowers and added embellishment's.
I thought I would try my hand again at NO LINES. Practice makes perfect as they say.
I changed Bea's black out-line to a very pale pink, so that it couldn't been seen, once coloured.
I have used both Pro-markers and Poly Pencils to colour her in.
She isn't perfect but I am impressed with the effect it gives. The stitching effect I used in Publisher - just made a 6 inch square and clicked " format shape " - clicked on " colour and lines ", changed to pale pink and " dashed ".
Ribbon and bow assortments are from Me to You - Winter Wonderland.
Small star shaped gems are Papermania.
Sentiment - Craftwork Cards

Bea looks gorgeous without the black lines, doesn't she? It does take longer to colour, so is time consuming. I will definately be trying this with a Tilda / Magnolia stamp.

Don't forget to check out the new stamps for this week. Remember when you enter a card in the challenge it MUST have Bo or Bea on your creation. There has recently been a few entries without the Bears on cards.
Right - I have 101 things to do this morning. So catch you all later.

Cards that are featured in Simply Cards & Papercrafts

Hello again blog friends. Now for sharing the exciting news with you all.
A few months back Simply Cards & Papercrafts Magazine approached Gayle Cook - Teddy Bo's creator, saying they would love to do a few pages on the bears. Of course Gayle had to decide which  of the design team she was going to pick to help promote the Bears. So in the end the magazine let her pick 3 of us. So there was me, Edna and Colette.
Now we couldn't turn that down could we? As you can imagine we were all jumping for joy and so excited. I'm telling you now, it was so hard to keep my mouth shut - I hate secrets lol.
One of the design team members sent this picture she scanned in of the magazine. She subscribes to the mag, so got hers first. My local shops or WHSmiths haven't had it in yet.

I just can't wait to have the magazine in my hands. I have to say though, that I am very disappointed that Colettes aren't in the magazine. Though they are on their web site under " HOT PROJECTS ". We all worked really hard in the getting the cards done in time - a few panics and eager to please.
I've never spent so much time on a card.
Here are the two cards that I sent in. I have also listed the products I used.
I  have the instructions for them if anyone would like to make one. Just give me a shout, will be glad to help.

My scan results are......

Good morning blog friends.
Just wanted to let you know that I had my scan last night. Took just under an hour. The problem is, I have two gall stones - one of them is very large, just over 4 cms.
My gall bladder is very large too and shows I have some sort of infection. So now I have to wait for the results to get to the doctor and decide what I want to do. I have already made my decision - and that's to have my gall bladder removed. I've been in pain for over a year now. It drags you down so much. Plus as I'm in pain when I eat, I find I don't eat just to avoid the pains....which means I have lost some weight too....so have very little energy.
At least I now know whats wrong - as my old doctor kept saying it was stress. Changed my doctor now, so at least he done the right thing for me.
Thank you so much for your concerns - it's nice to know people do care.
Right, I'm off to do some house cleaning and finish my card for Friday.

Teddy Bo Tuesday & Challenge's

Good Morning Everyone.
Today is the day for my scan - can't seem to settle, so its an ideal time to create.
I purchased these Kraft Gift Bags - Papermania -  a few weeks a go.
Some of the Teddy Bo Design Team have altered some stunning bags,
so of course Tammy just had to give it a go.
I have used Lilac / Grey / White  as I wish to enter this card in the Colour Create Challenge
They also have the option of adding  snowflake's.
I must admit this colour combination is so LUSH! So much so, that I'm definitely going to be making more Christmas card's with this colour theme.
I've also decorated the bag - gives a lovely finish, don't you think?

Magnolia Card - Tilda playing Hopscotch

A quick post for me today - sorry I haven't been around much - in fact its been an whole week.
I have been unwell again, though do have my scan tomorrow night.....hopefully answers to my pains. Can't wait to get it out the way and hopefully stop worrying too.
This card I made for Debbie on Teddy Bo's Design Team - I do try to send cards to the girls, lets them all know that we think of each other.
I do believe she doesn't like the stamps - so purposely made this, hoping it might change her mind.
I have had this Tilda for ages and she was still wrapped up in her packaging - rude I know. There are a few more I need to use, that haven't been opened. So lots of cards coming up soon.
I really cant remember which papers I have used - should really keep the front covers lol.
Flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and so are the gems - I cant go without them.
Sentiment is a Craft Work Cards die.
Used a Mini Tilda on the inside.
Martha Stewart Round the Edge Punch.
Fingers crossed Debbie likes - though you can't convert everyone can you?
This is also the first  time I have made a card this small - mine are usually 7 x 7 inches or above.
This is just under 6 " - so small for me.

Right.....I'm off for now - lots to do and places to go - also got my Grand Daughter this afternoon.

Spellbinders - Shapeabilities - Ironwork Motifs

Hi Folks - I've been having another play this morning.
Using my new Spellbinders - Shapeabilities - Ironwork Motifs - perfect for a snowflake, don't you think? I am after doing some quick / plain cards for neighbours etc. So this is what I came up with.
Though there is something that I am not sure about. I think it may be the blue....too much, should have just used it around the centre piece. Plus I have no room for a sentiment.....light bulb in my head flashing.......I could do it as a DL card - then I can place the sentiment at the bottom....and maybe a bow. Right...off to start all over again. Tee Hee!!!!
What do you think? Opinion's appreciated.

Candle Holder / Wine Bottle Holder

Had a little play today. I saw this tutorial a few months back
( one of the many few that are on my to-do list ).
So here is my finished item. It fits a large candle and a wine bottle. Great for  table setting etc.

Took loads of pictures, as it was hard to get the right angle.

Ideal to add small gifts in too.

Just got to finish a card to match the candle....oh, the candle is from Poundland.
It's made of wax but turns on by a switch - batteries included. After finishing this creation, I'm now off to Poundland to stock up on some more candles - bargain or what?
