Tilda with big Bow

Made this card for the Just Magnolia Challenge. The Challenge is a sketch, provided by Mina. I had a card to do for my Friends birthday and just couldn't put anything together. This sketched helped so much and I am so pleased with the way the card came out. I am also going to enter the card in Sweet Stamping Challenge
"Oh, so girly". and . All That Scraps Magnolia Challenge - Let's Celebrate Birthdays....Finally Magnolia Down Under Challenge - Flower Power.

I am afraid the picture is not showing its true colours. I had 2 spot lights aiming at the card and still it's shown a little dark. Couldn't take it outside as the weather is terribly dull and wet.
I have used Tilda with big ribbon. She is so so cute. The tiny butterflies are also magnolia.
Coloured with my Pro-markers and blending pen.
Flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts...used tiny sewing pins between the flowers.
Large ribbon is recycled from primark. Papers used are the new Premium Love Letters Pad. Stunning papers - a must have!
Side view of card. The inside and back matches the front of the card.
Off to enter my card now - so have a good weekend folks. See you soon.

LOTV - New Baby Card

A card made for a friends friend. I havent been asked to make a baby card for such a long time. Baby cards are always a favourite of mine to make.
Used LOTV stamp, can't get on the website to give you a link as I am getting a error message. Maybe their updating, I don't know. The tiny butterfly is a magnolia stamp. Very tiny but one I like to use all the time, looks good with flowers.

I have so many beads - I thought the alpha ones were ideal for this card. Threaded with tiny beads that match the papers. Also added a "hand made" charm. Papers are a mixture of DCWV.....from Linen Closet and Baby pack. Flowers are Wild Orchid Crafts, though the tiny cream ones are from my stash.
After checking Lili of the Valley Challenge Blog, this card is ideal for their next challenge. You must have  at least one circle on your card and of course a LOTV stamp. So I am off to enter this card.
Have a great day Crafters.

Tilda Carrying a Birthday Cake

Last card for the evening - Gosh did I say evening - just looked at the time and it's morning already. Infact it is 1.30am. What am I like? Though I know that I am not the only crafter that's up at all hours making cards.
Already had this Tilda inked up, ready to attach to a card.
Used my new Premium Paper Pad again - LOVE LETTERS - so lush. The tag comes within the pad.

This card measures 5 Inches by 8 inches.
Ribbon from my stash - Martha Stewart Punch ~ Spring Lace Round the Edge.
Added a few gems to finish off. Well, I had best get to bed and get some beauty sleep else there will be no cards tomorrow - this afternoon.

Butterfly Dreams

My new Magnolia Stamp arrived today...and.....I found my MOJO yet again. With whats going on in my life just lately, I have found it really hard to put a card together. I ordered new papers last week too and they arrived . So it's been a great day in my craft den, just playing. Nice and peaceful, which doesnt happen too often.

This card I made just for a challenge over at MAGNOLIA-LICIOUS.  The colour theme is PINK & BROWN or BABY theme, which was so perfect for my papers.
I have used a mixture of papers from my new Premium Paper Pad's.
Love Letters & Sweet Owl.
Paper's can be found HERE at Emma's Store. I am so impressed with them, that I have just got to go back and order more....lots more lol

Coloured the Butterfly with Pro-markers ( baby pinks and tan ) and glittered with pink and beige.
Used my Nestibilities and Marianne Creatables
Flowers from my stash.
Thank you for taking a peek, do leave a comment before leaving ~ it's much appreciated.

Princess Tilda

Gosh ~ it's been almost 3 weeks since I last posted a card. Where does the time go?
Been having a few personal issues / problems. Without going in to details...things are now beginning to settle and sort themselves out. So, Tammy is now back on track. Though I don't have a Teddy Bo card this week. My computer went to the doctors, after I downloaded a Trojan...a Trojan that ate my C Drive completed. Why do people feel the need to send virus's? I had backed up a few things but did loose some graphics. In the process of now loading all software's for pictures, printers and scanners. From now on if any one sends me an attachment, it will not be opened but binned!
I had a late night last night and decided to get my Maggie's out. I adore Princess Tilda, so so cute.
She's been coloured with my Pro-markers and glittered up her shoes, gloves and the bottom of her dress. A white pencil was used to highight her dress.....I think this gives a lovely soft effect.

Butterflies are Magnolia stamps too. Love the detail on these. I recently purchased another Butterfly from the magnolia collection and gosh....it's huge! Really need to get my thinking cap on now.....need some inspiration.
Flowers are from my stash, though I do believe they are from the wedding section at the HobbyCraft Shop, stunning blue.
All papers used are from Magnolia too. Tilda as gems in her tiara and shoes.
Don't forget its Teddy Bo Tuesday.
The Challenge this week is DUCK EGG BLUE & CHOCOLATE
Do pop over to see the Design Team Cards, there is a wonderful selection from the talented girls.
Plus lots of new digi's in the store. Once I have updated software I will get a card made up and add tomorrow or Thursday.
Have a great day Folks. See you all soon.

It's another Teddy Bo Tuesday ~ Gosh where has the last two weeks gone?

The theme for this week's challenge is ~ IN THE PINK, so your main colour MUST be pink of course.

The only requirements from you are the following ~

You MUST use a Teddy Bo or Bea image on your card. And remember NO back linking, new projects/cards only please. The challenge closes on Friday 18th Feb.

Before we get on to the winner and top 3 for our last challenge, we would like to thank each and everyone of you for entering. Your cards have been amazing - Gayle is gob-smacked at the talent you ladies have. Your colouring, from distress inks...water-colours...pro-markers and copics is out of this world. So then.......the winner of the SEEING DOUBLE challenge is.........

Number 4 ~ CLAIRE.

The top 3 cards are as followers ~

The lovely Donna is offering the winner 2 digi sets of their choice. Her papers are fantastic and print beautifully. I use them a lot on my cards. Do go over and check them out, if you have never seen them before.

On to my card. I have used Teddy Bo " I love you bunches ". I personally love the pencil drawings. To me they are a must have. I was the one that chose this fortnights challenge and guess what? I had NO pink backing paper. So off I went to the Hobby Craft shop. These papers are Papermania " HENBURY LANE ". Incredibly lush and come in 3 colour shades. Will certainly be getting these again. I haven't placed a sentiment on to the card as of yet as I can't decide if to use for a valentine card or get-well card. Flowers are a mixture of Wild Orchid Crafts and my own stash. Ribbon was from the NEC and think it's from The Ribbon-Box.

I have entered this card in the TEDDY STAMPERS CHALLENGE ~ LOVE BEARS
I am off for now - busy - busy - busy. Happy Crafting Bloggers and will hopefully catch you later this afternoon.

A Blog Award

How cool is this - I have been passed this award by one of my lovely blog followers Barbara. Thank you so much Hun....don't know what I have done to be given this....but my blog must have something to have received it.

The award is aimed at bringing unknown good blogs to light, I am honoured to think that someone thinks my blog is good enough for this award and happily accept it.

There are a couple of conditions to follow in accepting, and they are:

1. If you have been tagged, do you want to accept, then you have to create a post on your blog and post the love blog photo.
2. Choose 3-5 of your favourite blogs to tag, link these in your blog too and tell the lucky people they have been tagged.

There are lots of lovely blogs out there and its very difficult to choose, every blog deserves an award and I would love to pass this on to every blog I visit, but the aim is bringing unknown blogs to light and these 3 fab blogs are my choice.

First the lovely Claire her confidence as grown so much since she became a Design Team member at TeddyBo.com
Secondly Lim - her cards are outstanding.
Thirdly ShirleySo talented and leaves me some wonderful comments.

Please pop by and have a peek at these lovely ladies blogs, become followers and give them the recognition they deserve, you won't be disappointed!!
I will now say Good-Night to you all ~ sleep well

Tilda wants a hug.......

I had one of those nights where I couldn't sleep.....you know the one's.....where your mind works overtime etc. Then started thinking of cards....as you do. So got myself up....had a lovely cuppa and started rooting through my Tilda stamps. I just couldn't believe that this one was still in her wrapper....un-used. How rude of me....she had fallen behind all my other Tilda's, hiding away. I bet I am not the only that forgets what stamps they have or used. So of course I just had to have a play with her.
Now I can't take all the credit for the technique used in this card. It's not my idea at all. I remember some time early last year I spotted this technique on someone elses blog. This was before I started blogging myself...and for the life of me I can not remember who the crafter was.....but am certain it wasn't an English blogger. So please if anyone knows of this person, do let me know......I think at the time she was a Magnolia Design Team Member.....and her cards definitely had the WOW factor.
On to the technique - you stamp two images. Colour one in greys and the other in a colour that suites your papers etc. I used Jack & Jill 12 x 12 paper, so also stamped Tilda on to the paper so that I could have a patterned dress. Then glued to my coloured stamped image. You use the grey image as your main image. Then with the coloured image, you run it through your die-cutting machine, cutting circles out. I used my Nestabilities. Then attach the circles to the grey image....just like jig-saw pieces. So easy and so effective. Once I had got up this morning and saw the finished card - I must say I was well impressed.
Attached some love charms to wire and laid across Tilda - making it look like she is holding a banner as such. I know this is a Christmas Tilda but feel if some ribbon etc is added to her hair, you could get away with using her all year round.
Sentiment is from LOTV - link on my side bar.
Flowers from WildOrchid Crafts - link is also on my side bar.
Jack & Jill Papers - Ode to Joy - bought from my local craft store - I need more, so lush!
I havent entered a challenge for such a long time....thought this one was ideal for the following challenges ~ Simon Says Stamp Challenge - Love is in the Air.
Wild Orchid Challenge - Love is....
Magnolia Down Under Challenge - Love
Off to get some house work done - I have my Grand-daughter this weekend, so best get the catching up done now, cus I will definitely not have the time once she's about....though sometimes wonder why I bother. She will go straight to her toy-box and tip it upside down.....Grandad will give her crsips and sweets...so they will be every where. The joys!
So have a great weekend bloggers. Catch you all soon.

LOTV - Wedding Big Squares

Just a quick card for me today am afraid. Lost my mojo big time.....still cant manage to put a card together. I know your laughing and saying  " gowd girl, you've just done one " but believe me its been a real struggle. Wasted so much paper and card. Decided to use the LOTV Big Squares, for this anniversary card.

I was only asked to do this card last night. Guess that's why my mojo hasn't returned, I haven't had time to think about how I am to lay it out etc. Will be adding some glitter to center piece later when the silicone as dried.
Flowers are from The Hobbycraft......found them in the wedding section. They are gorguss silk flowers, ideal for weddings etc. My Daughter as asked me to make a head band with some.....that's for another day though.
Enjoy the card folks.....will be back again soon. If you pop in, do leave a comment before leaving. Its much appreciated.
I will be arranging some candy soon. I have had over 12,000 page views and 90 followers ~ that's not bad since I have only been blogging from May last year. So once I have got 100 followers....I will go shopping for the candy.

LOTV - Pom Pom

 Evening Bloggers.
Another quick card from yours truly. I have so many cut-offs in my box, I thought it was time to get them down a little....and... the easiest way of doing it, is by making some small cards. These papers use to be my favourite. At one time I'd buy loads just to keep me well stocked. They are K & Company and the stack is called Daisy. I had it in 12 x 12 sheets as well as 6 x 6 pads.
Used one of my new LOTV stamps Pom Pom. I have been itching to use them but there never seems enough time in the days to get them out. Mounted on to yellow card stock. Only added a bit of ribbon and bow. The card finished is only 5 x 5 inches so very tiny to add more. I haven't made a card this size for years.Seems strange not having a flower on the card.
Off to tidy my mess again.
Hugs

Sharing a quick card......

Good afternoon Teddy Bo & Bea fans.
It's Teddy Bo Tuesday, which means new digital stamps in the store. Do pop over and check out what the bears have been up to. We've got " Teddy Bea Bee " , " Di-Bo-saur " and much much more.
For my quick card I used " Bea Swing " and coloured with pro-markers. I have kept to soft pastel colours.
Paper's are from a digital download which I have had for years. Found them on my external hard drive. I did a search for the maker but cant seem to find her, so I guess she no longer designs them. They are so lush and of course my favourite colours. Small flowers are from my stash and I think I purchased from the NEC. Small buttons were added as I felt the card looked a little plain. Unusual for me not to have a bow of some sort.
I have left a sentiment until I have decided whom the card is for.
Well, best get some house work done.....don't want everyone knowing I have sat on my bum all morning making cards LOL.
Happy Crafting. Enjoy the new stamps.
Hugs
