Three Little Angels

Gosh!!! It's half past one in the morning. I just can't sleep - loads on my mind I guess.
So, it's an ideal time to get some crafting in - nothing on the TV.
I have used the adorable " Three Little Angels " from LOTV
I've just gone for a plain pink card stock and attached Glitter Vellum ( Heart of Craft - Docrafts )
over the top. Totally LUSH this vellum, I'd certainly recommend it.
The pink snowflake ribbon is from Jim-Jams bought from Primark. I keep anything and everything..if it can be used on a card, then craft with it!
Spellbinders - Shapeabilities - Ironwork Motifs - used as a snowflake.
Gems added and a few flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts.
Large snowflakes ( plastic and glittered ) are from my stash - they were table decorations.
Coloured with Pro-markers

I'd best tidy up my mess and get some shut eye, as I do have an early start.
Sleep tight & Sweet dreams

One for the Boy's

There's not a great deal I can say about the card, as no papers were used in this creation.
I use to make this style card a few years a go and they sold like hot cakes.
Men's cards are not the best to make, are they?
A few years a go I bought the " WS Templates " but sadly they are only big enough to make small cards. Tammy doesnt do small and never as.
So using Adobe shapes I created my own. I just added Bo in to the template.

I saw " A load of old pickles " blog.
This gave me inspiration to get the template out and make this card.
Thank you Kerry for giving me my mojo back.
I've only used white and kraft card stock. Attached a couple of buttons and sentiment.
Printed Bo on to Bristol Board, coloured with Poly Pencils and blended with Sansodor.
Also went around the edges with a black pen, to give a stitching effect.

I havent been about much as I'm still in a little pain but getting there - thank you for your kind words.
I will be so glad when I've had my scan on the 11th - at least I will know then what's causing the pain.
I so don't want to rely on pain killers.
Well, I have a few things to do, so will catch you all soon.

My first attempt at " SHABBY CHIC "

Good morning everyone - not the best of mornings is it? Winter is definitely on his way.

I have been having a play - thanks to Kathy on Teddy Bo's Design Team. She makes such lovely
" Shabby Chic " cards, that I too just had to have a go. I have seen some wonderful cards done with this effect in blogland.
So here is my take with the " shabby chic " look.

Firstly I sorted everything out I needed for my card and laid out on news paper.
Gave them a blast with spray primer paint. ( from any hardware store )
I have to say, I only gave one coat but next time I will try more, as the look is fab.
I also sprayed my door hanger too.

I chose TEDDYBEA_003, coloured with poly pencils, blended with sansodor.
Added glitter to her wings and wand, gems to her boots.
Papers used are from my stash, so honestly cant tell you the make etc.
Flowers and gems from Wild Orchid Crafts
The key charm I bought from Primark. My £1 bargain as there were 6 keys on the chain.
Tammy never misses a bargain - I always look to see what can be placed on a card or gift.

Finally I made a " Corner Bookmark " to complete the set. Tutorial for that coming soon.
I have not yet finished the inside of the card - the bookmark will sit inside on the top right corner.
Made for a special friends birthday.

I have such a lot to do today - my Daughter's 16 on Tuesday but will be having friends round tomorrow. So I have a lot of food shopping and cooking to do. The Joys!
Then will start all over again on Tuesday where she will be celebrating with Family.

Teddy Bo Tuesday & New Challenge # Things with Wings

Good Morning Teddy Bo fans. Its that time of the month again - which mean another challenge.
This time its " Things with Wings ".
To enter your card must have BO or Bea on your creation and of course something with " wings ",
it can be papers / embellishments / ribbons or Bo & Bea with wings.
Here  are this weeks latest releases - sorry to have disappointed those of you that thought there was a snowman. Maybe next time - who knows!

My card for todays challenge.

Not the best picture I'm afraid - I can never get this style card to photograph well.
This twisted easel was worst - and to top it off, I'm not sure if I like it. :((
I printed Bo off on to Bristol Board. Coloured with Poly Pencil, blended with Sansodor.
All flowers / gems, are WildOrchidCrafts.
Papers are FIRST EDITION - Animal Antics....paper as butterflies on.
" Taking it Easy " sentiment was computer generated.
" Special Day " sentiment, LOTV
Butterfly die - Marianne Designs
Finished card is rather large -  7 inches x 7 inches.

I will be back later today with pictures of cards that I recieved from the Design Team for my birthday.
I had a wonderful day with lots of flowers / chocolates and money.
So today, I'm off to the craft shop to buy some goodies.
Have a good day bloggers - its raining my end, so an ideal day to make another card.

TOMIC - Challenge Card

Good morning everyone - Tammy as made another Easel Box Card.
This time with some yummy chocolates inside - and they are my favorite too.
Baileys Truffles - Yummy.

This card is for the TOMIC Challenge.

My favorite colour combo and used my favorite Magnolia Papers too.
They are from the " Something New - Something Old " collection.
Flowers and butterfly embellishment - Wild Orchid Crafts
Coloured with Poly Pencils
Ribbon from my stash

The chocolate theme can be illustrated by recipe, word, decorations, theme...
You must use a Magnolia stamp which is cooking related from the numerous collection of Magnolia stamps.
This is the only stamp I have that relates to cooking - though I do have many with cakes. But this one in adorably cute - don't you think?
So.....I think I have covered everything and even included the chocolates.

Right I am off to link my card, as I have such a lot to do this morning.
I also have a very messy dining room. Holly my Granddaughter and her Aunty Chloe
had a crafting night, last night - you should see the mess....and....I thought I was a messy crafter.
Here is a cute picture of Holly doing some sticking and Aunty Chloe some cutting.

Easel Gift Box - lots of pictures

TEDDYBEA_138 ~ Bea in the Meadow

Good Morning Bloggers

I had an afternoon of card making, the other day.
Seeing Jill's post-it easel card over at Teddy Bo, gave me lots of ideas.
Years ago, I use to decorate / embellish bars of soap. These were gifts I'd give to friends at Christmas / Birthdays, to place in their chest of draws.

So off to the shop.
Two bars of soap and lots of tiny pins - I decorated with lace / ribbon and Wild Orchid Craft flowers. I have to say my fingers and thumbs were very sore, pushing the pins through the soap.
Now I know why I stopped making them!

This is the side view of the easel with back panel decorated too.

Box measures 6 1/2 inches by 6 1/2 inches.
Depth is 1 1/2 inches. So I'm now making a box to match.
Papers used are Magnolia " SOMETHING NEW - SOMETHNG OLD "
Used brown and kraft card to matt and layer.
Butterfly metal embellishment is from Wild Orchid Craft too.
Sentiment LOTV.
Martha Stewart Punch

Bea as been coloured with Poly Pencils. The inspiration to the colours as come from the wonderful June over at Yorkie Lover. The colour combo she used is my favorite and looks so good together.
Thank you June.

Happy Crafting Girls.

Ballerina Bea & Hot News

My Daughter's Birthday Card

Printed TEDDYBEA_096 " Sitting Ballerina " on to Bristol Board, coloured with Poly Pencils.
Added glitter to her tu-tu and pom-pom. Small heart shape gem on her shoulder.
Flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts as are the gems and ballerina shoes charm.
Papers are Magnolia - " Something New, Something Old "
I think the Brown, Cream & Pink look lush together - I will be entering this card into Colour Create Challenge Blog - and guess what.....I WON their last challenge with my Magnolia card - WOW.
I was so excited to see this yesterday, I don't win challenges often or come near to second.
So this gave me a buzz. Thank you for picking my card.

Teddy Bo Tuesday & Say it with Flowers

A Christmas Card

Good morning everyone - Tammy is a little tired, so please excuse this very short post. Had to fetch my Daughter from her holidays this morning at as you can imagine, there wasn't much shut eye. Almost falling a sleep at the computer.
I am so pleased with this card. Papers are so LUSH! I used these a lot last year.
Now I don't have a sheet left. I think I will have to google them as I would ideally like to use these for all my special cards.
They are PAPERMANIA - Silk Screened Paper 12 x 12
Christmas Greeting paper is KANBAN
Circle sentiment is from LOTV...sentiment on Bo's letter as been computer generated.
Coloured TEDDYBO_128 - Sending you a note, with Poly Pencils and blended with Sansodor.
Flowers are Wild Orchid Crafts as are the gems and binding ribbon. Lace is from my stash.
Now just look at this cutie - how gorgeous does Scratchy Bo look in his over sized army uniform.
I have only got to the colouring stage - I so need to find the right papers.
He's one of the new releases - out today.
He's called " Soldier Baby Bear " - TEDDYBO_134
So ideal for the Son I never had who is serving in Afghan....he will be home shortly and once my card is finished, I know he will love, as he as a bear just like Scratchy.

Magnolia Card - Ballerina Tilda

A very quick post for me tonight.
Feeling rather tired, so think I am off up the " wooden hill " to have an early night.
I totally love this Tilda - she is so perfect for a little girls card. Though I did actually struggle, as I didn't want to place sharp objects like pins on the card. I must say...she's turned out beautifully gorgeous.
I have coloured the whole image in Poly Pencils and blended with sansodor.
Papers are again HENBURY LANE -  Papermania - Perfect Summer days
Glittered her dress with ultra fine glitter - and still shows my colouring through.
Flowers / Gems are all Wild Orchid Crafts

I just have the inside to finish - I think I will place a small neck chain with ballerina shoes to the inside. Will make a lovely gift. I'll add more pictures when completed.
Right I am nite all.
