Teddy Bo Tuesday & New Releases

Good Morning bloggers / crafter's. How nice was it to have a long weekend?
We had friends staying - though entertaining them was poor as I was ill most of the weekend. Much better today though and have another doctors appointment this week. My house is so, so quiet.....both my girls are away, one in sunny Turkey and the other at camp with the Cadets. I have to say I am hating every minute of them not being here. The house is just not the same. So there's just been me and Hubby....and I tell you, he's not the best for a conversation - totally dead silent. That's why I got so many cards made last week. I'd rather listen to my music, and do some crafting in my own little space. It was John Wayne weekend on TCM - so you can imagine I was going out of my mind!! Thank God, its Tuesday.....he's gone to work and as peaceful as the house is, I am enjoying it...for now!!!

Anyway on to my card, as its TEDDY BO TUESDAY already.

I have used TEDDYBEA_107. Printed on to Bristol board and coloured with poly pencils, which have been blended with sansodor. A little glitter glitter as been added to the water.
Papers are - PAPERMANIA - Henbury Lane - Perfect Summer Days.
This are simply LUSH!! A must have....so glad I purchased a few packs as I havent seen them about since.
Flowers and gems are from Wild Orchid Crafts.
Ribbon and sentiment are from my stash.

I have lots to do , this morning with being ill at the weekend, want to do some catching up in the house. Not that I actually feel like it right now....but hey, its got to be done.
Here are the latest releases over at Teddy Bo. Some more scratchy ones - the cutest!.

Catch you soon. Loves N Hugs xx

Steal a Kiss

Just a quickie from me today, as I have family stopping and need to get the roast sorted.
Plus I have Holly this afternoon too...so got my hands full.
For my card I have used *  TEDDYBOBEA_066 Steal a Kiss printed on to Bristol Board and coloured with Poly Pencils and blended with sansodor.

Papers used are Papermania - Rose Garden - LUSH! The butterflies and " with love " tag, are also from the paper pack.
Flowers and gems are from Wild Orchid Crafts - though I do think I have over done it with the flowers. Too late now, dried over night so I can't remove them. But hey - someone will like it!!
I will be entering this card in the FUSSY & FANCY CHALLENGE - which is a sketch.

Enjoy the bank holiday weekend folks and I will catch you again soon.

Colour Create Challenge & Just Magnolia

Good Morning Bloggers - isn't the weather just awful? As nasty as it is, it's ideal for some crafting.
I inked and coloured this Tilda last night, ready for a card this morning. Do you know, I was looking through my stamps last night and found this Tilda still in her wrapper - how rude of me. To be honest I found 6 that I haven't even opened....so I have set my self a challenge and that's to use ALL unopened stamps.

This is the first time that I have coloured Tilda's skin in poly pencils, I usually use pro markers, then colour the rest with pencils.
I have to say, I am pleased with the result.

I am going to enter this card in the COLOUR CREATE CHALLENGE.
I don't do reds as I cant often get the papers right....just doesn't happen for me.

Their challenge colour is - RED, KRAFT and WHITE/CREAM. I'm actually pleased at how well they all go together - perfectly beautiful.

Papers are g.c.d studios - CLOISONNE. These have been in my cupboard for what seems ages. Yes, they jumped out at me when I purchased them....but never been able to put a card together.
Flowers are as always Wild Orchid Crafts - Gems are KARS.
I'm also going to enter my card in the JUST MAGNOLIA CHALLENGE - LET'S PLAY BINGO.
I have chosen gems / flowers / ribbon / lace.
Well, I must shoot as my youngest is getting ready for camp. I'm not dressed either and need to take her to the squadron shortly. Got carried away with my crafting.....oooppppsssss!
Catch you all soon.
Happy Crafting.

Sketch N Stash Challenge

WOW - Tammy is so on the ball this week. Three cards in two days....how about that?
Are you sick of the colour combinations yet?
I am so in love with these papers and colouring in greys....totally LUSH!!
And.............I'm entering a challenge....which doesn't happen often, I can tell you.
I enjoyed this sketch.....gives a total different look to my usual cards. Think I will enter more sketches from now on.
Papers again are - Papermania - Capsule Collection - Mono Paper Pack.
Gems, ribbon and bow are Papermania too.
Flowers Wild Orchid Crafts.
Sentiment from stash - can't remember where...though have a funny feeling it's from craftworkcards.

Things to do, so I will catch you all later. Happy Crafting.

Magnolia Card - for a change!

I was so impressed with the way Teddy Bo turned out coloured in greys that I thought I would try it out with another stamp. I so adore this Tilda - so cute.
So as you can see, I have only used additional colours on her flowers.
She's turned out gorgeous, hasn't she?

Stamped her on to Bristol board and coloured her with poly pencils and blended with sansodor.
Papers are Papermania - Capsule Collection - Mono Paper Pack.
Wild orchid flowers - link on my sidebar. Binding ribbon from there too.

I have one more inked up in black and white - you will soon get sick of seeing them. But something different.....I'm actually thinking of doing my Christmas cards this colour this year.
Off to the shops now - everyone will need feeding soon and it won't get done whilst I am making cards. Wish, I could just have a couple of days away from the washer, sink and cooker. Some chance of that!!!

Happy crafting Bloggers

Teddy Bo Tuesday & New Challenge # Black & White + one colour of your own choice.

Good Morning Bloggers. I hope I find every one of you all fit and well. I myself haven't been too good. The aches and pains that I have had of late are all due to my gall bladder. The out come as been my gall bladder is badly inflamed / large, so now on 16 tablets a day. I hate being ill. Hopefully the medication will help...else I may have to have it removed. I'm waiting now for an hospital appointment to have a camera down my throat...and I can tell you this scares me so much. Not looking forward to it. I know that they need to find out why my gall bladder is inflamed / large...but...the thought of having this tube down my throat seriously as given me sleepless nights.
Have any of you had this procedure done? Would dearly love some feed back or advice.
Thanks in advance.

So... we are on to yet another challenge at Teddy Bo - where does the time go? I haven't had a great deal of time to make many cards with being ill or caring for my Nans needs and Holly's too. I know some of you have missed my other cards and may be sick of seeing the bears.
But I promise I will get some more in soon. Please stick around, don't disappear!

I have used a mixture of papers from my stash. The paper on the front of this card is " Making Memories - Wedding ". The inside is from a cut-off, so not totally sure where is from etc.
The technique I have used for this card is fairly simple. NOT my idea, as I have seen it about in blogland a few times and have used this idea myself on a number occasions.

You need to first print two images off, making sure they are both the same size.
Colour one in your choice of colours and the other in greys.
I used Poly Pencils.

Once coloured, place in your die cutting machine - I used my cuttle bug, place small circle dies over the top and cut. I used a totally of three. I then mounted my grey image on to my card.

Then, using wet glue I attached the coloured circles over the top of the grey coloured image.

Added Wildorchidcrafts flowers, sentment ( computer generated ) and butterfly peel-off to the card.
Some glitter was added to Bo's butterflies.
The inside of the card complements the front....I printed Bo again so that he fits snug in the corner. Coloured in greys.

Don't forget there is now paper packs and rubber stamps in the store. Please pop over and check them out.....can't wait for mine to arrive. Do leave the design team comments as they appreciate them just as much as yourselves.

Right....I'm off as we have decided to touch the house up with a new coat of paint.
Catch you all soon.
Loads of love

Teddy Bo Tuesday & New Challenge # Love is in the Air

Can you believe that its another challenge over at Teddy Bo and new releases too, that are to die for. Teddy Bo as had a make-over. His new look is a  " scratchy effect ". I tell you, they are simply the best. Totally amazing and so, so cute. So...Tammy just had to play - straight away.
This is my very first Christmas card....and...not a colour I tend to use. I still prefer to use pastel colours but I saw Bo in sage green......and so please with the effect.

There are no flowers on the card - simply as I had none to match. Though I don't think it needed any. Have started to colour another....going for lighter colours.....just to see how he turns out.
I printed him on to Bristol Board and  coloured with Poly Pencils, blended with Sansodor, using paper stumps. The papers are 12 x 12 and cut to size they are called " Winter Time - by Bella Road ".
Glitter as been added to his hat and pom pom, and dimentional magic to the baubles.
Sentiment is from LOTV.

Teddy Bo's gone fishing.......

Good Morning Bloggers.
Sorry I haven't been about for a while. We've been away to Cornwall for a few days. My Hubby hadn't seen his Son for 20 years.....since he was 16 and joining the Navy. As nervous as we all were, we had a fantastic few days which of cause was very emotional too. I have never seen two grown men cry so much. This set everyone else off.....so many tears. We had a great Family Day at the Navy base and my youngest Daughter Megan got the chance to fly too.

This pictures shows my two Daughters
( my eldest Daughter couldn't make it cus of work commitments ), with their Big Brother and his 3 children. I have gained 3 gorgeous Grandchildren...whom are adorably cute...though the twins who are not identical....I couldn't tell apart for the life of me. We all got on so well, even though it was the first time we met. It actually felt like there was no 20 year gap.
They will be visiting us at the end of this month too.....just can't wait.

Anyway - on to my card. My Nan asked me to make this for my Uncle....whom as fished all his life.
I can never understand how this hobby excites men so much!
I'm not overly keen on men's cards - love my flowers too much. But...I am happy how this as turned out.
I have used Teddy Bo 030 - " Gone Fishing "
Papers I have used are digital from PCCrafters.com
Bo was also coloured with poly pencils.
Pictures are not brilliant I'm afraid as my Grand-daughter as broken my camera, so have had to use my phone.
The inside as the same lay-out as the front, only a small boat as been added.
The sentiment says -
" Give a man a fish and he will eat for a day. Teach him to fish, and he will sit in a boat and drink beer all day "

Well.....I must shoot as I have my Grand Daughter arriving shortly and my craft things need to be put away. I'm such a messy crafter! Oh well, I won't be the first or the last!
Have a good weekend.
