You are so Special - Tilda

I had such a ball making this card-book / book-card. I haven't quite finished it yet....just had to show you how far I had got with it. I have seen these around blog land now for the past few month and of course I had to give it a go. At first, I thought it was going to be so complicated.....I tell you it's so easy you have just got to give it a go. I am so addicted now, as they are so much more than a card. The inside as plenty of space for a few chocolates / jewelery / candles, the list is never ending. This does only measure 12cm x 14 cm. Once you have done one, you will definitely want to make more....and bigger. I have a bigger one drying now.
I know most of you will want the TUT, so I will place the one I found here. Check out Tina's cards and boxes. This is one talented lady - she as some amazing creations on her blog. I found it blog hopping. So glad I did...very inspirational indeed.
So then, for my ingredients ~  I have used " You Are So Special Tilda ". Isn't she just the cutest. Gosh, I think I say that about all my Maggie's. I have coloured her with pro-markers, kept to soft pastels.
Paper's used are G.C.D Studios - ELLA BLUE
Prima Flowers and a few gems, the tiny roses are from my stash, so haven't a clue where they came from. Attached to the organza ribbon is a key....tomorrow I will take some pictures of the keys. They were a real bargain from Primark. Three decorative keys came on a chain for £1. I bought the last two....but you never know you might get lucky. They are so elegant...vintage. The light is bad tonight so promise I will get a picture for you tomorrow.
Off to finish my other box before I climb up the wooden hill.
Night all. Loads of Love

How fantastic was the very first challenge over at Teddy Bo Challenge Blog? We had 29 entries and OMG the cards were amazing. So much so it took us all ages to pick a winner. The talent some of you have is out of this world. Well done every one who took part, your cards were great. The winner of the Wild Orchid Craft Candy was......... Lim. Do go over and check her blog. Well done Lim. Don't forget to contact us for your prize. We hope you get a lot of pleasure from the candy....I am so jealous!
So its now Teddy Bo Tuesday again. This challenge is SEEING DOUBLE. Don't forget its a fortnightly challenge so you have plenty of time to get a card made. the only rule is you MUST use Teddy Bo or Bea on your card. There is some fantastic new stamps in at the store. Do go and check them out, the artist as gone for a softer pencil look this week and they are to die for. Amazing!
The card I am showing today shows a sample of SEEING DOUBLE. I have used Teddy Bea twice. On the front of the card and again on the tag. Of course you can use 2 bows, 2 buttons, 2 flowers....endless possibilities. Happy crafting girls. Can't wait to see your cards. Our sponsor this week is McMahon Five who are kindly giving the winner a $15 Gift Certificate.
Teddy Bea just looks adorable with her letter. She can be used for any occasion, from valentines to thank you cards. I so love these stamps. I have coloured her in pro-markers. I am so pleased at how she as turned out. Wild Orchid Craft flowers have been used, alittle lace and a few gems. I don't think the card needs anything more.
Side view of the card shows the insert. I have used Bearly Mine Papers, the are so lush and print beautifully. Do pop over if you have never used them...a must have! I have entered this card in TEDDY STAMPERS Challenge ~ ANYTHING GOES.
I have turned this card in to a kit. Which will be available to buy at later today. There will also be some decoupage sheets too. Ideal for those that don't like colouring or simply for a quick card.
The kit and decoupage sheets though are available NOW at Aimee Asher . They print beautifully, have easy to follow instructions. Do pop over and take a look.

Well, I have lots and lots to do today and food shopping too. So take care everyone. I will catch you all again later today. Happy Crafting.

Bath-Time Bea

A late night for me ~ it's 2.35am ~ everyone is sleeping, so for me the best time to make a card.
Best part of it is, I am wide awake and ready for making another. Though I know I must go to bed.
My mind isn't at it's best as I couldn't decide what colour flowers to add to the card.
I started off with blue ~ took them off, then added brown's......and now I wish I had kept the blue.
Surely I'm not the only one that does this.

I have coloured with my Pro-markers and blending pen. Not too keen on the choice of colours I have used for the towel...again that might be cus of it being so late. But all in all....the card does look lush!
Added some glitter to her slippers and royal coat dimensional magic to the bubbles. Picture doesnt really show it that well.

Flowers are Prima, Wild Orchid Crafts & some that I got from the Hobby Craft. A little glimmer mist as been added and sealed with hair spray. Just need to add a sentiment, then all finished.
Off to tidy my craft room now...bitz and bobz every where. Need it clean for my next card. My new LOTV stamps came so I have just got to have a play. Also my new Magnolia's have been dispatched so I am so hoping they will arrive for my weekend play.
Teddy Bea is NOT happy at all with me for putting her to one side. She's got to learn that I can't give her my full attention all the time. Aunty Tammy as so many other thing's to do. So please do pop over at for the new release. Bath Time Bea will there on Tuesday.
Night Night All.

Playing with Teddy Bea

Good Morning All Bloggers.
I had lost my MOJO yesterday but soon found it late last night when the house got eventually quiet. I had a play with all Teddy Bo & Teddy Bea digi stamps. This stamp of Bea comes from one where she is sitting on an Easter Egg. I took her off using Adobe and sat her on a cup. Ideal for a birthday card.

The papers I have used are from the Forever Friends Spring Time Collection. Which I purchased from the Hobby Craft the other day. Gorgeous double sided patterned paper pack. I am not one for die cuts but did get some of them too. Thought they would be great for Holly's Easter card in which her Mum wants me to make for play school. They have matching ribbons too, which I used on the card. Hobby Craft also had Raffia on offer too - gosh the colours they had were amazing. I bought the beige and cream, as after looking I thought it can be coloured well with pro-markers. The raffia lace was only £1.99 for 10m. Now that's a bargain, don't you think?

Close up of Teddy Bea. Used pro-markers  to colour her and the blending pen. I didn't want her too dark.
Flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts - though the tiny yellow roses are from the Hobby Craft.
Coloured Bea's wings, then added very fine glitter to them. Cut them out slightly, placed mounting pads behind to give a 3D effect. OH NO!! Just realised I haven't coloured Bea's button in. Gosh must get that done asp. Actually I may have a small button that just might fit there perfectly. Well, lots to do, places to go. So I will catch you all later. Have a good day.
Happy Crafting

Teddy Bo's First Challenge

I hope that you are all ready for the New Teddy Bo Challenge. There is some wonderful launch candy, sponsored by Wild Orchid Crafts. Plus top 3 cards will get to choose any Teddy Bo image from the shop. Please pop over and view the fantastic images that are available. We have gathered together a great Design Team whom have done some stunning cards. You will find these on the Challenge Blog too.

With my card I used paper stack, which is called Frosted Bluegreen, they are fabulous double sided papers. Flowers are Prima and Wildorchid Crafts....added some glitter to them. Teddy Bea has some glitter on her button and pom-poms. Sentiment is from LOTV stamps. Talking of LOTV - anyone tried ordering the new stamps today? The site must be very busy as I have had no joy at all. Every time I click on a stamp to buy I get an error page. Guess it will have to wait until later this afternoon. Looks like everyone as the same idea as me - get there early lol.

Teddy Bea looks so cute doesnt she? She as been coloured with Pro-Markers

Back of my finished card. I don't like to leave the back plain.

View of card when opened. The ribbon keeps the card together.

Insert as Teddy Bea on too. I cut her out and mounted with sticky tabs.

Please go over and check the other cards out from the Design Team. I am sure you will fall in love with Bea & Bo just like we have.
Happy Crafting

My New Project

Afternoon Bloggers.
I thought I would share with you my latest project. It was going to be a secret but Gayle ( aka Fairydoodler ) being Gayle just could not wait for the surprise. She hassled me for hours - even though I did say
" please do not disturb me for a few hours "...did she listen....errr NO!!
So as she now knows, think it best I show you girls.

I began by printing Teddy Bea on to 18 count Aida Fabric. This was rather difficult at first. My first attempt just didn't go through the printer too well. So used double sided sticky tape around a piece of card stock and attached the aida. Of course I had to push it through the printer. Then left it to dry on the radiator.

The pom poms on Bea's hat I used french knots. Added a little glittered thread give some sparkle. This doesn't show too well on the picture. I promise you it does look rather nice.
I have only started stitching the arm....not done too much as I like to work in natural light. Plus have the Grand-Daughter all weekend so definitely will not get much done.

Hope you are all well......sorry there is no card from me today. Wanted to focus on my cross-stitch project.
Love to All.

Teddy Bea - Anyone for a Cuppa?

I had a little tea party this afternoon at three.
'Twas very small, three guests in all,
Just Teddy Bea, Myself and FairyD.

Teddy Bea ate up the sandwiches,
While I drank up the tea.
'Twas also I who ate the pie,
And passed the cake to FairyD.

Just how wonderful is this Tea Time Teddy Bea?
Did you know that in some parts of the world, Tea Time is is an honored tradition of refinement and elegance.
I just love this digi stamp......the finished card its self looks so elegant.
I bet your all excited at these new stamps, aren't you? I know I am.....and I'm the one that gets them before you! Gosh, I am teasing aren't I?
Don't forget girls, we are still looking for Design Team Members, so ping me if your interested.

I coloured Teddy Bea in Pro-markers. The shadow around the tea-pot is actually computer generated. Flowers around the pot, I have added myself from a selection of pccrafter digi stamps. But don't panic....once Bea arrives the pot will come in both plain and patterned. So you can then add what ever you wish.

Flowers as always are from WildOrchid Crafts. Do check them out...honestly they are so Lush!

Teddy Bea - standing over me......gosh, she gets everywhere. Though it is nice to have company whilst in my craft den.
It won't be long for Bea's keep checking in.
Sleep tight folks.
Love to All

1st Card for 2011 - Teddy Bea

Good Afternoon Blogger's. I hope that you all had a wicked time celebrating the New Year. It was very quiet this end - due to everyone being ill. But hey, that's not stopped me from carrying on and getting this wonderful card finished.
Teddy Bea, is my new friend and gosh she's been up to so much and I have only known her for a's hoping it rubs off on to me, cus I so need her energy!
This is a pre-view of Bea as she won't be launched until later on in January. What do you think of her? Isn't she just the cutest bear you have ever seen?

Bea, will have her own site and be sold as a digital stamp. At the moment we are after some feed back from you girls and some ideas on how you would like Bea to look on her travels in Blogland. You are the card makers and very talented too, so your inspiration is needed for her launch. Would any of you like her to be sold as a coloured image too. I know some crafters do struggle with colouring and getting the shadows right. Your feed back is well needed. Oh - we are also after some Design Team Members if you are interested and have the time to make a couple of cards a month, do get in touch with me asp. There will be lots of challenges on Bea's site too...with some great prizes. Also every now and then we will pick a card from all participants and they will win some candy - how exciting is that?

Ok - a little about my card. Bea is getting ready for Valentines....her card is written and waiting to be sent to her loved one Bo.
I have used NitWit Collections for my papers. Gosh, they printed off just perfect. Though I did only print at TEXT cus I didn't want them too dark. The collection is called Quilty Pleasures

The back of my card. Card size is 7" x 7". Used Marianne Designs die-cuts for the swirls and Spellbinders too. Flowers are all from the wonderful WildOrchid Crafts - link is on my side bar.
Organza ribbon is thread through the heart and tied in to a bow.

Side view of finished card.
Coloured Bea with pro-markers..............warm greys/tan/sandstone/sunkissed pink/putty.
Now as she is a digital stamp, I created the shadow around her on the computer...which I think gives a really good finish. Added punched leafs and gems to finish off.

I have lots and lots to do today, so will be back later on this evening. Do think about Bea's and where you want her to go and what you wish her to do or wear. If you would like to be on the design team - give me a SHOUT. Your feed-back is very important.

My 8 Favourite Cards From 2010

Thought I would join in with all other bloggers and show you what I think are my favourite cards from 2010. After checking for months other crafting friends blogs, they inspired me to finally set my own up. Gosh, I was so pleased that I did. I have met many talented crafters, whom have now become friends.
Before going on to my cards - I would like to thank the wonderful Carol. She was my first follower.....and to this day sends me the most amazing comments. No matter what your mood is, she always manages to cheer you up. She also recommended me for the Design Team at Totally Papercrafts.
Secondly, I'd like to thank the gorguss Lorraine. How nice was it of her, to shout about me on her blog. She let everyone know about I went from 9 followers to 40 within days. That meant so much to me. Come many of you get up and check your blogs before even putting the kettle on? That's what I was like......dancing in the kitchen waiting for the kettle to boil cus I had yet another follower. I tell you its an amazing feeling. I have had a rough few months and not done a lot of DT cards.....said I was going to quit....but still she says I am welcome back any time. Now that is some one with an heart....and I don't find many of them about.
Thirdly - I found my long lost Friend Gayle and also gained a new one called Teddy Bea. I have met some great artist over the years in my card kit designs at DaisyCompany and Aimee Asher. But Gayle will always be my number one!! Why? When I first got in to digital scrap booking etc....Gayles art was the first thing I bought. We had a giggle the other night over some of her old art. She lost some a few years ago....and....I still have them....all of them. Now I won't go showing you them as I know she will find it embarrassing. Her art is out of this please when you have 5 minutes spare, do check her blog. There is going to be lots of challenges this year and loads of new art work. Teddy now going to be my Good Luck bear - this year is defo going to be

The first card at the very top, will always be number one! She still sits on my work top and won't be given to anyone. I was having an emotional day making that card....even daft as it may sound I felt Tilda's saddness. Ok - go on laugh.....but I tell you it was the best card card ever made. The door hanger is just as adorable as the card.

Another Tilda - made for a friend. Loved the papers and still do - though I must stock up, I am running so low.

A gift set which was made for My Daughters best friend. Another easel card - went through a time of only making these. Again my fav style card and always will be. Love the altered sweet jar.

LOTV - Lili of the Valley. I came addicted to these as soon as I went to the NEC. Ok, I had few before I went....but....let's say I spent a good £100+. Can't wait for January cards.

Hanglar stamp - OMG! If wishes could come true I would wish for these to be sold here in the UK. Adorable....I love them. Sadly don't own a single one, but a blog friend kindly stamped some for me. I sent her this card as a thank you. It was so kind of her to do that for me......though I may have stalked her a little! Thank you Babes - you know who you are!!

Kanban Stamps - another wonderful selection of stamps, the cutest. Love them. Made this for a friend in the US - sadly she never got it, so its larking about somewhere around the world.

Sneaky Tilda - another fav Magnolia.....I would be lost without these stamps.
Finally - Meljen's Designs - Whimsy Stamps - perfect for any card maker, the details in these are stunning. So sweet.

I actually love most of my cards and could have placed a few more in to my top favourites. But didnt want to bore you all. Looks like I have gone on a bit doesnt it?
I have since had over 8500+ page views since blogging, which as only been since May 2010.
So I would like to THANK everyone of you for popping in last year. Don't stay away....always say hello, leave a comment and follow. There will be some CANDY soon for a lucky follower.
I am going to have a well earned cuppa......tidy around a little and then you never know....there might be a new card from me for the new year.
Take care folks - love you all
