Totally Papercrafts - Challenge #40 - Bling It On

Good Morning Crafters. I have had a bad few days with my computer so not been able to blog am afraid. All sorted now - hopefully no more problems.
Firstly I would like to thank everyone that took part in last weeks challenge, we saw some wonderful cards. Congratulations to the all.
Secondly - thank you to all that have left me some wonderful comments and are now following my blog. A perfect end to a bad day to find that I now have 45 follower's.

So its now time for another Challenge at Totally Papercrafts, we have got to BLING IT ON!
I did struggle a little with this one...but soon realised my flowers have lots of bling.

For my card I used a vintage image. I was actually going though all my CD's for Christmas Vintage and came across this charming lady. Cut her out with my nestabilities, and mounted her with double sided sticky tabs.

As always I have used lots of flowers and gems. My bow, I placed some beads onto a chain - that's my little BLING!

Printed her on to linen textured card stock. used a few punches for the leaves.
Don't forget to leave the design team comments. I have placed them all on the left of my side bar. Thank you for peeking at my leave a comment...before leaving.

I am overwhelmed

This is just a quick post, as I have the Grand-Daughter and must go and bath her before her Mum finishes work. I just wanted to say a HUGE thank you to Lorraine for shouting about me on her blog. I now have 40 followers - this morning I had 23 when I placed my Tilda card on my blog. I can't believe how kind she as been by doing this....and to do it without hardly knowing me is the kindest thing anyone as done for me. I can honestly say I had a huge lump in my throat. If she was close to me, I'd give her a BIG hug and a sloppy
I'd also like to thank you all for taking the time in looking at my blog and of course for following me too. If only you could have seen my face when I signed in and saw how many followers I had. I was shocked to say the least.
Sending a HUG to all. Love Tammy x

Farewell Tilda - Card & Door Hanger

I said in my last post, that I had a rather late night. Well, this is my other creation. I have to say - I adore this so much, that I don't want to part with it. I know I can't keep it for myself and someone will love it as much as me. I am afraid I got carried away with pictures but just wanted to show it off. I think I will need to make a gift box. Card is 6 x 7 inches and of course the door hanger is a lot bigger. For now it can stay on show....I can make the box another time.

I got the door hanger from The HobbyCraft and the paper's too. The Paper Stack I used is from DCWV - Linen Closet. These are lush! They only had one stack left, so hopefully I might be able to get one from somewhere else. I know Dunelms sell them....but last time I checked there was nothing new.

Stamped Tilda on to patterned paper too, so that I could 3D her apron. Just stuck a little silicone underneath to give it some lift. Flowers are from WildOrchidCrafts as well as HobbyCraft.

Used lots of swirl die cuts and leaf punches. Glittered and glimmer mist the flowers too.

Isn't she just so cute. Sentiment is computer generated. Say's " Don't be Sad - It's Your Birthday". Lots of pearls have been added too. NO bow on the card as I thought it had enough on.

On to the Door-Hanger. I have used the same papers...and coloured Tilda in the same as the card. Used my Pro-Markers and blending pen, as I didn't wanted her looking too dark. Flowers are a little different but still looks great together.
I will be entering the Door-Hanger in to Sweet Stampin Challenge - Anything but a Card

I must shoot now - meat is in the oven and have to get the veg chopped up....doesn't get done by itself. I am afraid I don't have fairies in my house!! I wish I had sometimes....then maybe I could get some more crafting time....Plus I love this gift set so much that I am going to make another up, this time in Pink.....and may decorate a sweet jar too.
Happy crafting everyone.

Tammy Had a Play ~ Shoe

I had a very, very late night last night....I got so carried away with crafting that when I popped in the kitchen to have a cuppa, it was 3 am. I know where the time went, but gosh this hasn't happened for a long time. Though I have only had 5 hours sleep, I feel great and refreshed. Normally I would feel shattered....I guess time will tell....I bet by 4ish this afternoon I will just fall over somewhere in the land of nod.
I haven't made one of these for ages. A few years ago I use to make smaller ones to fit on cards. Not quite sure what I will be doing with this one just yet. I was thinking of saving it for my Nieces wedding but then the colour theme is Midnight blue. I have some shadow box frames, which I stocked up on from Poundland. So I may paint one of them and put it away. You never know there may be someone out there who might ask for something like this next year. Ideal for Wedding's or Anniversary's don't you think??? Not sure if to put anything on the inside of the shoe yet. A small gift card would be nice, wouldn't it?
This as also gave me an idea for a digital card design over at Aimee Asher.
Well, off to edit some more pictures of another project I did last night. Catch you later folks. Happy Crafting Hugs Tammy xx

Mo Manning - My Grand-Daughter's Birthday Card

My second post in just one day - woohoo!!! I was making this card up late last night - well, actually it was 1am. I was having one of those nights where my mind was working over time - I have so much going on of late. So...card making helped to take my mind of life's problems. Though it was rather late and my eyes started feeling tired, I am so impressed with this card, I had to finish it right away. I have made this for my Grand-Daughter Holly who will be 2 on New Years Day. OK - cards done early but better than late or last minute. I have just got to put her name or age on the card.....but may do that on the I don't want it looking too busy.

I have used lots of fancy ribbon around the nestie die cuts. Image used is from the very talented Mo Manning - she is called Baby Fairy Flora. Link to Mo's site is on my side bar if you fancy taking a look. Again I have coloured her with just normal cheap colouring pencils and blended with paper stumps and sansodor. Perfect combination. Flowers are from WildOrchidCrafts - again the link is on my side bar. The large yellow flower is from Hobby Craft, which I will be buying more of later today. The curly strands of orange are just very thin strips of card, which I cut with my paper cutter. They do have to be thin for them to curl. Great effect, don't you think? The white leaves are from Magnolia, which can be purchased from Sirstampalot - again link in my side bar. Papers used are the wonderful Nana's Nursery Collection - DCWV. I adore these and the colours were just perfect for the coloured image.

I have to shoot now - else nothing will get done, plus I don't want to get stuck in traffic going to the Hobby Craft - best get a bank loan lol
Again - have a great day - remember it's Friday so relax and enjoy your weekend.
Happy crafting folks.
Hugs Tammy

I think this card may come under Autumn colours for Mo Manning's Challenge Blog. Isn't oranges, yellow's and greens Autumn? Well, we will soon see won't we? lol

Totally Papercrafts - Challenge #39 - Stick a Number on It!

Good Morning bloggers - its time for another challenge at Totally Papercrafts. This time the theme is - Stick a Number on It! Joey - one of our DT is turning 30 this month - so she picked this weeks theme. This challenge is sponsored by Bugaboo Stamps. The lucky winner can pick 7 images of their choice. How cool is that? Congratulations to the Autumn winner, there were some lovely creations. Well done everyone who took part.
For my card this week, I used a digi stamp from Tiddly Inks. Isn't she so cute. I have such a lot of Christmas cards to make this year, I thought she would look pretty in blue. I glammed her up with lots of glitter on her wings and stars....and of course she just had to have sparkly shoes too.

I made the tag myself - with the number on it, ideal don't you think for the Winter season? I mounted it on to a large snow flake, which was glittered up too. I coloured the image with just normal colouring pencils and blended with sansodor - it amazed me how well they blend. I honestly think they are better than polys - which I spent a small fortune on. I won't be doing that pencils I now know work well....and only found out on the off chance. I sat colouring my last wasnt until I noticed I had different colours that I realised I had not used my polys....gave the sansodor a go......well, to say the least I am impressed. Give it a go!

I have just one more card to upload, then I am off to the Hobby Craft to try and find some Midnight Blue ribbon for my invites. If anyone can help me find some I would be very grateful. I did have a link saved but have now found out they have taken the colour out of their shop - maybe out of stock or disconintued!
Have a good day folks. Happy Crafting.

Princess Tilda

Good Morning all blogger's. Not sure what the weather is like your end of blog land but gosh it is freezing my end. The weather as changed so much over the past few days. My girls have left me a message to get them gloves and scarfs if I go into town. Not sure, if that will be happening today though....I'm in one of those "can't be bothered" moods. I have had such a busy few weeks. Today is definitely a lazy day - and why not? We all feel like that sometimes don't we, so I won't be the first or the last.
On to today's card....had a rather late night last night and made this card for a friends birthday. The photo will not be that brilliant as I still haven't had my camera back from my Daughter's friends. Think I will have to fetch it later on tonight though.
I have decided to enter this card in the Charisma Cardz Challenge # 42 - Vintage. I haven't done a challenge for what seems ages. The colours I have used for this Tilda and back ground sheets, I am sure it will be ideal for a Vintage Challenge.
Plus also I am going to enter in the Meljens Designs Challenge - Anything Goes and Magnolia Stamp lovers - Sparkling - Tilda is glittered up and sparkling. Buttons on the right corner are sparkly too. Wild Orchid Challenge - Pastels My card as beautiful soft pastel beige's.

I have coloured her with very light beige's and creams...using my pro-marker blending pen to make it all look lighter. Her shoes, gloves and tiara have been glittered....with a few gems to finish her off. Paper's used are Hot off the Press. Another stack I have had for ages and not had much use from them. Trying to use them up....saves buying more of what I don't really need! lol

The middle flower is a magnolia flower, which I have just sewn some ribbon round the edges and pulled tight to make a circle. Added the flower to the middle. You will have noticed too that there is NO bow on my card. I felt it was a little too busy for one. I don't usually place so many flowers on my cards but do love this flower bouquet. I brushed over some glimmer mist, then set it with some hair spray....ideal stuff to hold it in place.

Well.......I am going to load my washer, clean up my messy craft den, fold my ironing...then maybe make another card. Do have another birthday coming up need to get my thinking cap on. Just maybe....I might.....use....another Tilda. Sorry but they are so cute and adorable...that all my cards have just got to have one on!!
Have a good day. Do leave a comment if you drop by....its great to have feed back.

Holly Jolly Christmas _ Cuddly Buddly

Have I told you that my favourite colour for Christmas is blue???
I just had to get this digi stamp from CuddlyBuddly. They are from a new artist called Pachela - the little bunnies are called Toby Tumble. Go and check them out, they are just adorable. As always Tammy got more than she can use but hey - don't we all??
I also discovered something new last night - ok, might not be new to some crafters...but I so wish I had found this out before. I sat colouring my image, started blending in with Sansodor...looked at my pencils and discovered I was using normal colouring pencils...not my polys. I just couldn't believe how well they blended with fact to be honest they blended better than my polys. Now - why did I not find this out would have saved me so much money....polys are so expensive aren't they? The Christmas tag I made myself. I love playing in my Adobe...saves buying the rubber stamps, when I have the know how to do it myself digitally.
I don't have a great deal to say today, but has been nice having a friend round as it's gave me some mojo back - always seem to get it when Simone calls round.
Have a great day yourselves folks. Catch you later maybe.

DL Evening Invite

Good Afternoon everyone - hope I find you all well. I am having a crafting to make some invite samples up for my Niece, who will be getting married November next year. With it being a winter wedding I thought it would be nice to have a snow flake theme. My Niece as asked for Midnight Blue organza ribbon, which I am finding hard to find. So if any of you know where I can get some from - cheap - I would be very grateful. I have priced it up on one site for £9. Otherwise we will have to change the colour to Navy Blue or Dark Blue

The swirl on the invite is computer generated, as is the text. I have stamped some snow flakes over the top...used Stamp & Bond embossing powder, then fine glitter on the top. Snow flake on the front of the wallet is a die cut - creatables - used stickles on them too. Mounted it on to 2 shades of blue card stock. The gems added after, really do finish it off nicely. Wallet it's self I have made...but have told my Niece she is better off buying them already made up with envelopes. Easier for me and not too time consuming.

Thank you for taking a peek. I am to make a large wallet invite and RSVP's.

Totally Papercrafts - Challenge #38 - Autumn

Good Morning to all's Friday again, time for another challenge over at Totally Paper Crafts, this time the theme is Autumn. Our sponsor this week is Sew Many Cards, and the prize is 5 digi images of the winners choice.

I have to tell you I really did struggle with this one. I looked through all my graphics and stamps, the only thing I had was Autumn Tilda and I had already used her recently. Halloween images just didn't jump out at me. I even got myself in a pickle over it - silly this card soon came to me. Why not just use Autumn colours!!

It's been said before that I am a perfectionist! I have made many cards, stood back to look at them, to find I am just not happy and rip them bad am I? So yes, when it comes to my cards and making the perfect bow ~ I am a perfectionist. But aren't we all. I like to keep people if my card is perfect, I know that the recipient will love it too.

I adore this Tilda - forgive me as I have forgotten which set she is from. Naughty me!

Used some lovely lace and vintage postcard for the front, not forgetting the beautiful heart stamp from Magnolia too. Most of the flowers are from Wildorchidcrafts. The middle flower is a Magnolia one, which is beautiful....I am going to have a go at making some with ribbon later today. Paper's are from a paper pack - Hot off the Press. I must admit I do have boat loads of them, so do need to use them more often as they are wonderful.

Coloured Tilda with Poly I wanted a softer feel.

So crafter's do pop over and take part in the Challenge. We can't wait to see your creations. Leave the design team a comment too as, they too have put in just as much work in their cards.
Happy Crafting.

Sneaky Tilda - Christmas Card

Good Evening all bloggers. I hope I find you have all had a good weekend. Mine hasn't been too bad actually...which does make a change for me. There is always something my end that stops me from having some ME time. So managed to get some in today, that's in between cooking, cleaning and washing....that's nothing knew though. Sunday seems to be my busiest day of the week. I still have some ironing to do, school uniforms etc but for now that can wait.
For this card I have used Sneaky Tilda again.....can you see I have made a boo-boo?
I didn't notice it until I loaded the pictures on to my blog.....silly me forgot to colour the parcel will get that done shortly. Can't believe I did that! Maybe it was cus I was thinking of a swap I have organised and have to do a baby card too tonight. My neighbour as just had a baby girl, so have to get a card done asp. She would be disappointed if I gave her a bought one. I was naughty last year and gave her a shop card at Christmas. I had a bug and didn't feel like making them. I attached a tag on the back saying "Not hand made by KizzyDesigns"....she came round and we had a little chuckle. Be there moment!

For a change I have coloured Tilda with my Poly pencils and blended with Sansodor. Her skin and hair have been coloured with pro-markers though...mainly as I like that finish. Did use poly's on her cheeks. There is lots of glitter and gems around the edges too.

To be honest, I am not too keen on this card. I like to use soft pastel colours for my Christmas cards....I thought using traditional reds would make a change...not happy....but do know someone whom will adore the card.
Wildorchid flowers used ~ as always. Added a gold pen to the edges and then used glimmer mist, to finish off. Gone for a totally different bow this time......maybe that's another reason for not liking the card....I don't know. I adore organza ribbon so much, this one as a Christmas greeting printed on to it. It is nice ribbon but when there is text on it, it doesn't show perfectly when tying a bow.
I am off now to colour an image, so will say Good-Night to you all and maybe catch you tomorrow.

Totally Papercrafts DT ~ Buttons and Bows

Good Morning Bloggers ~ Its Friday again - gosh where does all the time go? Some of you are a where that I am now on Totally Papercrafts design team ~ exciting for me and I'm truly honoured. Even though I have had such a terrible week, with taxi-ing my Nan and helping to sort my Brothers money affairs, I still managed to get my first DT card done, with only hours of notice. It was great just locking myself in my craft room and having some ME time. Though I didn't get much sleep last night, trying to get my head round adding cards.....I didn't know where I was or where I was going. But I guess we all feel like that some days.
So.....time for another Challenge over at Totally Papercrafts. This Fridays theme is Buttons and Bows.
Lucky for me I had this image inked up and ready to place on a all I really had to do was add the buttons and bow and of course my flowers...can't forget them can I? I have made this for a dear friend of mine who lives over seas and today will be having a major operation. So after posting here I must get the box made and get posted to her asp.

The image used is from my Kanban stamp collection, which I recently purchased. I must say they are so adorable - cute is a must have for me. The stamp collection is called "Little Friends".

This is a close up of the coloured image. I have used my pro-markers and the blending pen to ink him up. He as turned out beautifully, don't you think?

My flowers as always are from Wildorchidcrafts ~ the link is on my side bar for those who have not ordered from there. This rose is one of my new ones, which came the other was a must have to use. I used my Marianne Design Creatables for the swirls.
Tammy as one hundred and one things to do now, so I am going to pop off for a needed cuppa and a ciggie. Thank you for stopping by and congratulating me on my DT adventure. I hope you will all be kind enough to check the challenge out and leave me a comment ~ it's much really is.
Have a good day - Happy crafting

Kanban Stamps

Good morning to you blogger's. I really can't believe how fast this year is going. October already. Where does the time go? Everyone seems to be moaning about the weather and that Christmas is getting closer. Me ~ I love the Autumn months and can't wait for snow. Though the Midlands never seem to get a lot of it but I always make the most of what we do have. Brought my Grand-Daughter her winter coat and matching boots yesterday, already for the cold months. Bless her, last year we couldn't get her out of the snow. I bought her in to dry her off, clean clothes, to find her near the front door trying to put her wellies back on.....guess she takes after her Nanny.
Still having a busy week, trying to sort my Brother's house out....seems never ending. Had to visit the doctors myself yesterday. I had a blood clot in my wrist and spent 2 days with chest pains. You can imagine how I felt......scared as there is thrombosis in the family....with being a smoker so frightened me. Doctor seems to think the clot may be a one off and the chest pains could be down to stress. To be on the safe side, I am to go and get my bloods done on Monday. Couldn't have them done yesterday as I have to fast for 12 hours. Finger's crossed it isn't going to be anything too serious! On a good note, yesterday I got offered two jobs. This was definitely a confidence boost for me.....which I really did need. I have decided to go for the one that is closer to me - my local co-op. So all forms are filled in and I will be taking it in later this afternoon. Excitement!!
So....down to my latest creation. Carol, placed this stunning card on her blog. Tammy, being Tammy, fell in love with the stamp straight away and just HAD to buy - actually I didn't buy just one set I brought 4........come on, I bet I am not the only one that does this?

This as been made for my Nan - who will be 82 this year. She adores cute cards and in her early days she use to breed dogs - though this isn't the breed she will still love the card. Used my round the edge punch from Martha Stewart. Paper's are Papermania - Rose Garden - stunning papers. The stamp set is Kanban which is called Annabel - these were brought from here. The delivery from Crafty Ideas is so quick, only took 2 days....which is brilliant when you want them NOW!! The flower on the card, I used punches, went round the edges with versa color....punched from matching paper. Just had to add organza ribbon to finish off. All coloured with my pro-markers.
Entering this card in the following Challenges
* Sweet Stamping Challenge which is Punch it Out.
Well, I hope you all have a great weekend.......I am off for now to get another card finished.....but really do need a cuppa first. Having a quiet day to myself, which doesn't happen very often.
Take Care All
