Wedding Tilda

Wedding Tilda
Good afternoon to all blogger's and crafter's. A little cloudy this end but it hasn't stopped me from card making. To be honest I think I am glad weather is a bit dull today, as I have really enjoyed making this card up. All the wedding bitz and bobz that I have done of late, have all been in pink. So after a lot of thought and checking my paper stash and flower collection, I decided to come up with this colour. One of my favourites. I love easel cards so much and do tend to make a lot of them....they are loved by all my recipients.

I have had this stamp for some time now and not had the opportunity to use it til now. In fact I have got a few of the wedding collection but I do think this one is the best....don't you?

Added a little glitter to her dress but am afraid it's not showing up too well. The aqua flower's are to die for aren't they? Used a few punches especially Martha Stewart's, also some sticky gem's to finish off. The beautiful ribbon I bought from Hobby Craft some time ago, it shouted out at me to buy. The roses do stand out on the ribbon but picture doesn't show its true quality.

Think you can just see the glitter on her dress in this photo.

The front of the easel card I placed a wallet. Ideal for putting money in for the recipient. I am actually placing Euro's in for the honeymoon.

I have said before - always like to do the back of my cards too. I hate to see them looking so plain when the rest of the card as such a great finish.
I must say - this is one of my best cards - actually one that I don't want to part with. Guess we all feel like that sometimes, don't we? Just the box to do now. This card is 8" x 8" so with the depth of the flower's I will have to make a bigger box. Will get that done later on today....must get some house work done, before the other half come's and as a moan!
Thank you for stopping by...do make my day and leave a comment.

I have decided to enter this card in Charisma Cardz Challenge - ANYTHING BUT SQUARE!

Thinking of You

This is another of my favourite Tilda's, and the paper's I have used are to die for. I have such a lot of them but don't seem to use them as often as I should. Must get them out again. They are from Pandura Hobby.
Here is the link - www.pandurohobby.co.uk
All the 12 x 12 stacks I have are virtually the same pattern just in different colours. There are some wonderful colours though, you have just got to take a peek. Even the little wooden button's they have match the paper's just perfectly.
I coloured with both pro-markers and water colours. Not often I use water colours though, I do need a lot of practice. I have problems with shadows etc.....don't seem to get them right. I start colouring then end up screwing it up......a bad habit of mine....its just got to be perfect! I guess we are all guilty of that some times.

Wild Orchid flower's ( link on my side panel ) and beautiful organza ribbon, which is always a must have for me.

I like to decorate the back of my cards too.....don't see the point in spending all that time doing the front and inside then leaving the back plain.
Thank you for taking a peek. Do leave a comment if you stop by. Come on make my day!!

50th Birthday - Quick Card

Quick card - don't you just hate it when someone rings you for a card and you don't have a single one to give? So out came the PCCrafter's graphics....one's I haven't used for such a long time. I have so many of them it was difficult to choose. The recipient wanted gardening and butterflies.....plus I knew she loved pansies. It only took me less than an hour to make this one up. Wish all cards took that long!
Thanks for taking a peek.

Birthday Rage!!

One of my favourites of Mo Manning's. She's so cute and adoreable.

Used my DCWV paper's - again these are my favourate, use them such a lot. Do need to get some more stock though, I am running out rather quickly. Made for my Daughter's friend who turned 15yrs. I remember when they were in nursery together and she was such a grumpy child. That's why this one was made. My Daughter said " Jill " does actually look like her friend. Bless! Lots of roses from Wild Orchid Crafts.

Gift Box for Bride

Not saying a great deal about this box or its contents. As it will be a surprise for the Bride. Her future Husband asked me to sort out a gift for her. That I can't say for now - just in case she looks at my blog.....hehehehehe.....she will know something is happening now wont she??
The whole box is made by yours truely using bunches, lots of embellishments and flower's.

Thank you so much for taking a peek. Do leave a comment.

Just the garter to make now!!!!

Brides-Maid's Boxes and Bracelets

Not the very best of pictures, am afraid. I did buy myself a new camera. Takes brilliant photo's out side but inside they are awful. No matter what I do with the setting's the picture quality is very poor. So I have had to resort to my mobile phone again. This shows the back and front of the heart shaped boxes. Again cut on my cri-cut. Makes life so much simpler. Added tags with the bridesmaid's names. organza bags are also included in the boxes for placing the bracelets in.
Finished bracelets. The top one is for the flower girl and bottom for one of the bridesmaids. Two of these have been made so they are identical. Don't want no falling out!
Again, thank you for taking a peek.

Cake Box

The last of the Boxes and Bracelets. I searched high and low for a cake box template. Then silly me found one on my cri-cut! Used many of my punches and creatables for this box and lots of flower's. As you can see this one is for the Maid of Honour. Placed confetti in the little organza bags just for a finished touch. Most of the beads and charms have been picked by the future Bride herself. Of course I just had to add a few things myself.

Finished Bracelet. I adore it and enjoyed every minute designing it. Though very time consuming.
Thank you for taking a peek, please do leave a comment, it's much appreciated.

How adoreable are these? I must admit they are a MUST have! The set is being launched friday the 16th on Create and Craft. Pop over to Crafters Companion's site http://craftercompanioninfo.blogspot.com to take a peek. You could even be in for a chance of winning them. The cutest thing I have seen - I want NOW!!!

Wedding Table Planner

Yes.......Tammy is back crafting!! Sadly we have had Judith's funeral, which went rather well..as best as funeral's go anyway. She had a beautiful send off. Her flowers were out of this world and there were many donations for St Giles Hospice. Thank-you all who donated. They gave Judith and the kids lots of help and support.
Now we have Judith's Daughter's Wedding coming up at the end of the month. A time to celebrate but also a sad time for everyone. Judy will be missed but I am sure she will be looking down on the event with a huge smile. I am trying to help out as best I can......with the crafty bitz and bobz anyway!
So I have planned out the Wedding Planner for guest to see as they walk in to the sit down meal.
Plus each table gets a setting too.
We have gave each table a " Love" film theme.
Five tables in all.
Firstly we have the brides table which is called "Run away Bride"
Then there is "Dirty Dancing, Ghost, Love Actually and Pretty Woman"

I must say, the Groom actually wanted the tables to be named after " Supermarkets "
ie - Asda, Tesco, Aldi, Sainsburys.
Jason Hun, what was you thinking???

This is the top of the board.

I really did enjoy designing this and a pleasure doing it!
Anna and Jason haven't seen it yet but I am sure it will be loved.
Now......I have less than two weeks to finish off the Bridesmaids bracelets - yep still not done them all. Have only done two, so will stick some pictures on tomorrow of those.
Then I am to make a garter......but I can't find my sewing machines leads. I cleaned my craft room up last week and can't remember where I put them....I guess in a safe place!!
Oh - also have their Wedding card to do too - how could I forget that??
Well, its nice being back. Hope everyone in blog land are all doing just fine and crafting happily.

I am still about....

Just wanted to let everyone know that I am still here. Been a busy but sad week for me.
My friend passed away on the 2nd July. I spent the night sleeping with her and reading to her. At 3 am, she had tears in her eyes, though there was no movement from her just the sound of her breathing......it felt she knew she wasn't a lone. Her children were sleeping in the room next door......So it was very heart breaking to have to wake them up to say she had gone. Not something I would want to do again....but so glad I was there. We have the funeral on Thursday. What makes me so sad is her Daughter gets married at the end of the month......so wish her Mother could have been there. We do have some wonderful photo's of them both together when they went bridal shopping though. I am pleased now that she is no longer in pain and at peace.
I have designed the " order of service " . Felt I had to do something, to keep the cost down for them. they look beautiful.
So take care all ...................will be back again soon.
Love Tammy x
