7th Heaven Card

Morning everyone - I'm sharing a card using Mintay Papers. The 7th Heaven pad is my favorite, as I love roses and the soft colours.
Adding handmade paper flowers and the stitching detail gives a perfect finish.

I've used Lady E dies for this rose and leaves,  coloured with distressed inks.
Spraying with a little water and creasing them at the edges. setting a side to dry before using silicone glue to layer on the card. The only detail you can't really see is the 13arts stencil that I have used on the backing paper. Shame as it looks lovely.

Sentiment is from my own stash. Love how the card as turned out.
Recipient will love this, I'm sure?
Don't forget to enter our new challenge which is " lace ".
Looking forward to seeing your creations.

Here is the list of products used. Happy Crafting.

February Challenge Crafteezee - Theme Lace

Good morning crafter's  - hope the weather isn't too cold for you today. We've not had snow as of yet in the midlands. I'm not too keen on this time of year. I get so low and tired constantly. Listen to other's I'm glad I'm not alone. I have found crafting really difficult. It's been hard to put something together. But hopefully today I have managed to pull it off.

We have a new challenge over at Crafteezee - the theme this month is " Lace ". So whether it's the material kind - lace patterned paper - lace chipboard - get yourself in your craft room and find your lace stash and get creating. We can't wait to see your creations.

I've used Lace Selina on my card, as it matched the Prima papers just perfectly.
Lots of embellishments from The Lavender Frost kit. Oh my, they are lush. A new addiction for me.
There's paper shapes, acetate shapes and flowers.
All available in the store and a list of products below.

That's it from me today. Have a lovely weekend.
I'm hoping to make a start on a  mixed media project for a friend.

Shabby Chic Altered Heart Plaque

Good morning crafters - Tammy here this morning with an altered project.
Who loves a charity shop find? I just love trekking around the shops for a bargain.
I found a heart plaque which had a sentiment on the front.
I took that off and gave a good sanding, in-between some white acrylic paint.
I then added the lovely Mintay papers - Dear Diary.
I adore the rose backing papers in this pad. So shabby chic.

Paper has been torn and a little water added to curl the edges. Once dried, it gives a great finish. I only used PVA glue to attach to the wood, then coated in Gessa.

Flowers made using Lady E dies. A little glitter added for some sparkle.
 Fantasy Chipboard - Rose boarder.
Organza butterfly added, these are gorgeous - photo doesn't really give them justice.
You will see some wooden pink flowers added in between the foamiran roses, these are out of a pot pourri - don't they look great and match the paper just perfectly.

Acrylic paint as been added around the edges to give a shabby chic feel.
I have to say I love how its turned out.
Don't forget you have a few days left to enter this months challenge.

Here is my product list. Happy Crafting.
